On a side note, house hunting is getting tedious! I made an offer on a place on Friday and they came back today with a laughable counter offer....:hsugh: The hunt continues..... I will pay whoever finds me the place I end up in a nice finders fee! Must have big garage and close to a bus line so I can take it to work, and not be in the 'hood' of Roch. The bounty has been offered!

Whats a price range you're hunting for?? As far as 'hoods go. Stay away from anything north of 41st street and west of 18th ave..and south of 55th street.

 

Also, stay away from down town area especially SW.

I saw a wrb wrx driven around the other day too. It wasn't trborex. This guy had a small white sticker on the bottom of his car by the side skirt, and his car was much quieter then trborexs. But it also has the baby 02 spoiler. Maybe a newbie to Rochester?

just dropping in quick to post up a couple of things I thought might be of general interest-

1. Feel free to get ahold of me if you need to borrow my 18+2 trailer. I have all tie-downs, a winch etc., and wouldn't mind making arrangements for this to be used by anyone in need. I may want some beer in return.

2. Check out the golf rates at http://oaksummitgolf.com/ right now... I just signed on for a 2 year 7 day. Hard to say no...

3. There is a skierx, boarderx, and bikerx (mountain bikes on same course) down coffee mill ski area this weekend that I'm taking part in (along with a bunch of other Rochester people). I thought possibly some of you would be interested in some of that.

Other than those things, I'm no closer to having a new Subaru. I did get rid of my show truck though and am down to just the C43 and my daily driven beater Tahoe. I will hopefully be looking for a new project by this fall- top of the list right now is a Datsun 510.

I found this one out on the southwest side of town, off of 40th street. Keep looking, I waded through a LOT of houses and have been looking for at least 4 months now before I finally came to this one. In my experience most of the houses in roch (non-new construction) are priced at LEAST 10-15% high right now. Most people are still trying to hold on and get prices from about 2-3 years ago. I gave my agent the green light to go ahead and put in the final offers tonight that should land me the house! :biggrin::eek3:
