not so, they were completely unwilling to listen that im not swapping an engine. i have a block to work with, so thats what im gonna work with. i totally dont doubt that they are increadably knowledgeable however when i a guy says hes not interested in swapping engine shouldn't the tell you what you can really make on my block? oh and talking to jason has proved that they were wrong, that i can make my 300 to 350 whp on my block and cheaper than buying a rex and goin from there. and honestly bob i wasn't trying to be a **** just pointing things out, i mean i do wrench for a living. i see these things alot. even if it cant be my daily driver anymore i have a pos 93 bmw and my kawasaki to drive to thats ok the bike is faster than the car will ever be anyway! haha

 

but as to the posts on meeting for pics, i'd like to actually meet some of you guys, i know jason already but i dont think i've ever met the rest of you. so since my subi is bone stock at the moment i wounldn't be interested in pics but meeting you all i would be.

Nabil, I realized I don't have your cell number so could you PM it to me? The comp hasn't been formatted yet so I will see what you can do for me. It definitely has some kind of a virus on it, as it had regedit disabled too. I copied and renamed it onto the desk top and now you can get into regedit. I'm going to check on the free Norton now.

I'm not refuting the fact that bearings do go due to beating on motors. However, that was not the case in this situation. I'd just appreciate the accusations not be made, rather a question be asked. Instead of "thats what you get for rodding on it" maybe a "oh how did that happen" and then if I tell you it was from beating on the motor, then you have the full authority to flame away if you so choose.

As far as not knowing anyone. You may not know me personally, but you know of me. Im friends with your girlfriend, and we've bumped into each other at zadeos a few times.

Yes, pics must be done. It doesn't need to be warm, just nice out. I like the ramp idea, also a large smooth grassy field would be nice if we found one that isn't a mudhole.

That car dealership on Broadway, where the old pizza hut was, also has a black bugeye wrx out front now. They still have the smashed up blue wrx. Wonder if they are using that blue one for donor parts?

thats a negative, the black one is done.... the owners kid drives it but i think its still for sale.... 02 with a stamped title, asking 8000 i think.... and the blue one is a stamped title to, and i believe he is going to repair it to and i'm sure ask the same amount, or he told me he'd sell it as is for 3000 or 3500, cant remember

I know the owner, and his kids personally.

The black one is an 02 with a stamped title, and hes asking 9k for it. The owners son is no longer driving it. From what I can tell, it has a big brake kit, a STI top mount, and a catless downpipe and full exhaust. I havent ridden in it, but I am told that it is pretty quick from some friends that have ridden with him.

The blue one is sold, as of saturday. He got rid of it for 3500.

They are heading up to auction this week to pick up a 04/05 STI with a front mount, body kit, and its two toned (either black or dark blue on the top half, and wrb from the windows down) . I believe this one has not been wrecked, and I dont know if they will be keeping it, or selling it.
