No Binks for Aric and I... We're going to hang out at home for once this weekend!
Yesterday we drove all over the fricken world and then more today.

We just finished putting all the interior into the wagon!!! Everthing was re-installed except the carpet that needs some cleanning. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks we can get it painted!! WooooHoooo!!!

 

update: binks is closed we are at fridays instead

And I got a new exhaust for the waggy! (Thanks Yang) We are going up to FS on Friday if anybody else wants to come along!

I also got a new t-stat for the rex (thanks readymix) and am looking to do my up/down pipe as well. Since I wont be driven it till next summer we are just going to get everthing put in and hopefully get a bullwinkle tune when it's all done!

This summer looks to be full of cars getting worked on/pizza hang out nights!

 

well in a couple of months if you need a garage me and angie's will be open for business if we're not working or busy..... but that goes for anyone too cuz most everyone heres given us a hand or helped out in one way or another at some point

 

Hey we should get the ball rollin for the SEMN cruise/bbq.

 

need to figure out when to do it first, I was aiming for the beginning of next month but due to the mnsoc bbq followed by the LaX cruise I think we will have to wait til a little later in the year.

 

Agreed... Too many events at once tend to burn people out. Plus, we did more of a end of the summer cruise last year and it worked out nicely. I think that waiting a bit is a good idea.

 

Excitement for the week:

They installed the wrong carpet in my house and I just about had a heart attack when I saw it thinking it was what they had planned to put in. All is going to be fixed and the proper carpet installed (and it better be prior to my closing on the 24th...).

Anyone want some pea-green with primary color fleck carpet? :laugh: :eek4:

The saga continues. Apparently the color that Tile Warehouse was supposed to have ordered is now currently on back order for another 2 weeks. Looks like I get to choose ANOTHER damn carpet. 3rd time is the charm? So far they seem to be trying to make this right, I hope they go the extra mile to take care of me. I think it's time to start talking carpet upgrade at this point...? So long as that green crap comes out and something that actually matches the interior of the house goes in I'll be happy.

Good!! You? I'm still subscribed to this thread, despite having moved out of Rochester... 2 years ago(?). You goofballs are pretty entertaining even though I can only put faces to maybe 4 of the names.

I haven't been too active here lately, since I was driving the Chevy Crapice all winter. (My friggin' "replacement winter beater" (white '00 RS2.5) threw an idler pulley and the timing belt slipped a tooth... so $6000 later, my $6700 "winter beater" is now the most expensive car I own. >8-( I don't have that much money into my Corvette; sheesh!)

Sorry to hear about the idler pulley Rob. How is the vette doing? I remember when you'd drive it to the dojo on occasion it was lookin good. That is definitely my favorite body style corvette.

Who ever is not goin to firestone on Friday should come hangout. Josh (tangledupinblue) and possibly alexis (bossSTI) will be in town getting some tires mounted up and afterwords we were thinkin beer and food.
