Maybe that's because you're too busy driving around ignoring your Subaru friends. Thanks for waving back, *******.
As I said, I suck @ painting so you really dont want me to do that but I am definately down for the moving..... and if the box with all your underwear happens to disappear it wasnt me.
Jason, I can help tomorrow after I'm done with my motorcycle class. I'm taking the basic rider course out at RCTC sat/sun from 7:30am - 12:30am to learn to ride and get my endorsement. I'll call you after I'm done to help chip in on moving. PS: So who all is coming over Sunday night for some birthday shenanigans at my place?:yumyum: -Steve
starting around 9 or so... lemme know if you need directions steve i think we'll be done by then and if we are still call and stop by for a brew or two, if not the help will be greatly appreciated, plus me josh and nabs can give you your birthday gang rape present
Well I just cleaned house at Lowes. Pretty sure I managed to piss off the cashier since they had to ring up every single item in my lumber list manually (punch in item number/quantity) when it was like 8:55pm. Got some new tools to build the deck and a couple other things for the hooose. All the lumber is supposed to be delivered tomorrow afternoon, so we'll see how they do. I think it'll all have to sit in my garage for the time being until I can get the building permit/proposal done and the holes dug. My official birthday is on Monday, but it looks like having people over to party it up/drink/debauchery on Sunday night will be the best as I'm taking the basic rider course at RCTC Sat/Sun mornings to get my motorcycle endorsement! That was my birthday gift to myself, along with the power mitre box, circle saw, and portaband saw. :yumyum: -Steve
I'm going over to my friend's parent's place in a little bit to do dinner at some point. I was thinking of having people show up any time after 8? I'll just send out a mass-text and let people know when I'm ready for people to show. It's gorgeous out today! P.S. I got my motorcycle endorsement! Time to start shopping for a cheap bike now. Woot! -Steve
im lookin for bikes too! how much was your class? i have my permit but i seem to remember that you get a discount on insurance if you take that class?? cant wait till i get my own bike, till then ill bum around on my roomates ktm supermoto or honda 919 (super fun bike!! naked bikes ftw!!)
Lucky bish! Those supermotos are fun bikes! I wish i had one at my disposal! That 919 is a great bike too, i cant believe he rode it back from California!
well i finally got my cable and intraweb hooked up so i'm back for the cheeky shenanigans..... thanks josh and lee for helping out with the move, me and angie really appreciated it i'm almost done painting the living room and dining room in the house, so once that is finished we can finally get everything situated in those rooms....... and yes i finally have a garage, and yes that was cleaned out and organized the first day hahahhahahhahaha.... although i'm not fortunate enough to have a 3 car garage like some people..... cough cough steve you suck ass cough cough
:coolugh: One of the bays is currently completely filled with my deck (pieces). It's a bit of a mess right now but once the deck is built (I'm hoping to begin work on it in a week or so after the sod goes in) it will be opened up again. I'm putting the shower door in in the master bath right now as we speak. -Steve
Im going to try to make it up to FS, it depends on when we get done laying the carpet in my basement tomorrow. Maybe someone else will be going for sure? I'll check the forum tomorrow before I head out if I do. Bob
Are you offering to host the June 13 card? Sorry, we couldn't make it, need to check your place out! All, Anyone going to the LAX cruise/camping trip? Jason, Angie, Lee, Jill, Jenny, and I had a blast bar hopping last year (Fishbowl anyone? :laugh. We have not signed up yet, but if the same team is ready for the same experience, we'll be in fo' sho mutha. I don't have any camping gear, so I'd be OK with the same hotel room.
Jill and I were tossing around doing this again. LaX was an awesome time (both during the meet and after). I don't remember all the details, but I'm pretty sure there's pictures.
We're not gonna be able to make it this year... but for those that want to reminice on druken shenanigans of past times lemme know, I have the evidence As for the fights that might be a possability

New Steve: You didn't happen to aquire any tie down straps in the move, did you? I can't seem to find mine and the last time I saw them was when I helped you move. Bob
LOL you suckers, I'm up on a lake! Pat - I'm ordering the fluid on Sunday the 7th. If anyone else wants to run an Andrewtech cocktail (3 qts Redline, .75 qt Motul 300), paypal me $53 dollars by Sunday the 7th. Otherwise, it looks like just Pat and myself.
Nope, the only tie-downs I have are the ones I bought at Walmart that day, three of which are still in the packaging in my car. I'll keep an eye out for them though and let you know if I find them Bob. -Steve
Well my spell of good luck has run out... I have this new hallow "lub" sound with any bump and even on decel. I cant seem to find what the problem is. Where do u guys go if you need "professional" help.
I highly recommend Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center, worked wonders for me! Seriously, I know fellow members both here and in the cities have been very good at troubleshooting. Otherwise there's always the dealer.
outside of the club and dealer, in town about the best place for imports that aren't hondas is all star auto, tom knows his **** and is a good guy, hes located on hwy 14 just past the college.... thought i'd throw that out there if your looking for a shop, thats not going to run you through the ringer and feed you a bunch of bs
For a non-dealership shop here in town, Virgil's Auto on 2nd street right across from St. Mary's has always taken care of my family well. They aren't an import shop or anything, just a good honest bunch of mechanics who won't BS you. -Steve
I've gone to him before and I have to say I wasn't inpressed. Honestly, I'd go to Grease Monkey on 2nd st. You would want to talk to Zeus, he's the mechanic attached to the car wash house. These guys have always been down right honest and willing to dig in. And they will tell you flat out if they can't fix it and will direct you to some of their connections.
As much as I wanted to go to LaX, I am going to pass on it this year. Between Jason/Angie's absence, camping instead of hotel, low turn out and the fights on Sat.; I decided to stay in town instead. So show up at around 9pm for the fights. It's a solid card, and yes Arlovski is on it. http://www.mmaweekly.com/absolutenm/templates/rumors.asp?articleid=8209&zoneid=14
