Seeing how the season is changing so quickly, Im looking to get my car detailed. I usually would do this myself but i dont seem to have anytime. Does anyone go anywhere to get your car done? Or has anyone heard things about places in Roch.

Speaking of halloween.... whos all going out???? i got my parents coming down halloween weekend to watch the dogs and Brennon... Angie and I must go out and reclaim our best costume award.... dunno where we are going though... rookies was not bad 2 years ago, but maybe gilligans or breakroom depending on where the night takes us.

I am, but I'm also headed up north, around Bemidji, to spend it with my friend. He and I are having a pumpkin carving contest. Carving a pumpkin is a lot harder than I thought.

Yeah, Trica is my friends cousin!

For now I'm doing the receptionist position. Later next year we're going to work out a schedule so I can get my license renewed. (I have to do about 1500 hrs of schooling to renew it before I can cut/color hair)

Where is a good place to get my oil changed besides at the dealership and those other usual places like Jiffy Lube? It's getting too cold to do it myself.

speaking of your garage, Lee. Do you happen to have an impact screwdriver,
such as this

my doors don't line flat up with the rest of my car and I cant get my latch peice loose
(this part)
without something like that I think. John lent his out and it came back broken


if i scoot that in further that should line up my doors right?

 

I do not have that kind of tool, but a regular screwdriver might work OK. Want to take a look at it this weekend?

 

Have you thought about using a cordless impact driver with a screw bit in it?

I must say in advance that if you borrow it and don't plan to give it back.... you'd be better off borrowing it from someone else. With that being said I have an impact driver if you need to borrow it, I'd be happy to lend it to a fellow subaru owner.?>?>?>?

My wife and I are going to Bluff Valley light show thing tomorrow around 6pm. I don't know when your last get together was, but I was thinking this might be fun for the folks here in Rochester. We are going to eat there. According to the web site, they are going to have a buffet for around $9. They are also gonna have some musical performance at 7pm and at 8pm.

So what do you guys think?

If anyone has gone already and thinks its a total waste of time and money, please let me know before 6pm tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

Dirtyd that would be sweet if I could borrow it. when could I grab it from ya(and of course it shall be returned!) I didn't wanna try an impact or something powered cuz i thought it might be to easy to strip it out seeing as its just a large phillips head screw.

one of my windows sounds drafty too, so im hoping lining up the doors better will fix that somewhat as well.

 

So just to revive this thread a little bit and let everyone know, I'm having my official 'housewarming' party (seeing as now I've been in the house like 6 months....) on December 5th which is a Saturday. Let me know if you guys can come, I'm pretty sure I'm getting a keg. :biggrin:
