Jill and I are down. We could meet up at Baker's Square again for breakfast at 8 and leave by 9. I believe that would give us enough time to get to Zumbro Falls and wait for the main group to come through.
sounds good.... me and angie might be a lil after 8 but we'll try to be there not to long after... my mom is coming into town to watch the little guy and we got to make sure she has everything and we gotta gotta cook him breakfast before we go.... LAX here we come.... Shenanigans be prepared to be had.... college kids crying outside on the sidewalk, be ready for intraweb fame once we post hilarious pictures of you!!!!!!!!
Good seeing all of you guys last night, it's about time I crawled out of my Hobbit hole....:stickpoke:
Alright, homos. It's time to seriously prepare for this years load of SEMN. Who's got some ideas for a weekend where we can get to swimming in the fun? Try to keep us out of sticky situations. And let's be adult about this and keep the "semen" jokes to a minimum. We don't want it on our face. Egg, that is.
Any word on when this supposed SEMN cruise is gonna happen? too much fun last year dont wanna miss out.
Lee, I have the routesheet from that map I showed you at the last fights. With a little modification Im sure we could make it work. I have it in PDF and it is also saved in GDB and GPX format for GPS's. Let me know if youre still interested.
I dont know how to attach files, but if you go to the MN-MSTA website and go to "Routes" the route sheet I had in mind was the Minnesota part of the "Tri-state Boogie" Or you can text me with your email and I can just send you the file. Bob Edit: Got it attached!
A little over 5 gallons of a Bell's Two Hearted clone beer went into the fermentor last night.....:yumyum:
Nope. however I do plan on going to Whistle Binkies at least twice in the next week (Oktoberfest week :biggrin. Possibly on Monday, probably on Thursday and definitely on Sunday. All are welcome to join and enjoy.
Heck yes! What are the specials those days? Lynn and I are in for Sauerbraten, Jaeger Schnitzel and/or Beef Rouladen
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'mma be coming down there TODAY!!!! ANYone need a tune? I'll be stopping by with Nuke to pick up some FRESH RICE from an uncle/auntie. ****************************************
Actually, both Brad and I need a tune (though my car isn't driveable at the moment). B-Rad's got an AccessPort for his STI, can you tune those, Nuke?
Oh, I'm not asking about today, I just meant in general. Brad and I were talking about this about a week ago, I just neglected to ask you until now when it came up.
If you fix my brakes for me today, then I'll do it, lol But I got something going on in the evening also HURRY
I spy a 3g WRX in the shop last friday at Clements having some clutch work done... I think. What happend??? Ninjaplease...
They're telling me that it was an issue with the pressure plate. Replacing the pressure plate and clutch under warranty. What was your car in for?
Mine was in for a full clutch rebuild. They ended up replacing the clutch, flywheel, throw out ..... I had some howling coming from the throw out when the pedal was pressed. So I took it in and they ended up doing all that. It's like butter now though.
Weird that they went in around the same time. I didnt even have to put up a fight, SOA just covered it. I went in to pick up some stuff out of my car and the guy was just ordering my parts on thursday, said i should see it again Tuesday hopefully. I should ask them to inspect the throwout bearing as well while its in there, I did get a weird noise when the pedal was fully depressed, but I figured it was just a normal noise from a hydraulic clutch setup.
Yeah mine was no questions asked as well, so thats nice but I doubt they will ever cover it again.... I hope to sell it soon and get a 11', we'll see though.
And as far as the noise, it would only happen intermittently so it was hard to reproduce for clements... Good luck and I hope yer clutch gets well soon...haha.
They replaced my trhowout bearing too. after they did your clutch did the pedal seem almost effortless to push in?
Yeah I almost complained cause it was so effortless.... It felt like there was nothing there, but it's getting better.
I'm giving it a day and if its not better I'm bringing it back. I feel like I'm learning how to drive stick all over again
Yeah, Nuke. Thanks for all your help (especially with Charlie's issues, though the pool of oil was pretty funny).
What time are you nerds heading up to the Dyno Day? I might tag along for a bit then head up to Midwest Supplies to buy some brewing stuff.
Do we know anyone locally who can mount/balance tires for cheap? I need to get my snow tires mounted once they get here. Wasn't there someone who worked at discount tire north? Also where can I go to get a custom alignment nearby? I'd like to not have to drive to the cities..... -Steve
Brad (1_sic_rex) works for Discount Tire South now. Hit him up. As for the alignment question, I ended up going to Jeff the Alignment Guy. He's cheaper and does a much better job than local shops.
