Rochester / S.E. MN

I just saw this. Yes, you can shoot a rifle at any gun range that is set up for it. Byron is 300 yards, but doesnt offer daily passes. The rochester range is an okay range, and I would be down for a sunday of shooting. Just let me know what works for everyone. I'll be bringing my 9mm and my .40 at the least, and I might bring along a rifle.

Haha yeah, Sarah and I have been so damn busy lately. Sunday could possibly work for me, my mom is in town and is flying out Sunday so depending on time I could go.

i am off sunday... and depending what i can figure out with brennon I'd definately be down.... I picked up 5 different boxes of slugs and 200 more rounds of cci's and winchesters for the pop gun.... figure it out women

 

Have to take my mom to the airport around 3 so she doesn't school all of us on how to shoot. I could go before/after then though.

 

no go on the range for me today, sadly...

heading over to the inlaws to pick up the little man around noon and just dropped a few hun on the wifes aniversary present....

we do need to get this going though....

 

We should really organize a SEMN range day before the white stuff flies.

Sarah's car is a dirty whore, I'm taking bets on how many rusted bolts I shear off trying to change the first of two rear wheel bearings out. I have to take the whole damn knuckle apart now and every bolt is not succumbing to PB Blaster, MAPP gas, and the BFH........

 

Annnnd I'm screwed. Anyone know a good machine shop here in Roch?

Sounds great to me. Until a few hours ago I would have said I will be there for sure. Things changed a bit though. Just got home from having a procedure to remove a kidney stone. I still plan to be there as long as I am not needing pain meds still.

As I am still a Suby nOOby, I just wanted to join this thread since I'm from Austin, I own a 2002 WRX. Looking for more enthusiasts for help and support down here! I've read a little on the forum here and you guys all seem really great friends! I like to cruise up to rochester with my friends whenever I can, usually on weekends. Usually rolled with a black R32, red GTO, Purple Mazda speed Protege, 87 Black Mustang slammed, and red 4-runner.

as you noticed, yes, most on this board are pretty good friends. We unfortunately don't do car related meets as much as we used to, but you are always welcome if there is another set up. Typical spot is Binkies South.

I also believe i've seen you once or twice in Austin as I'm down there every so often visiting the inlaws.

 

Yea, probably...When I wasn't working (Deployed currently) I just drove all around town! Its a favorite hobby of mine I wouldn't mind getting to know you guys more, as since I have no other bills ATM I'm working on ordering more gofast bits for the suby that I may need a seasoned vet or two to assist in installation!

Looking to do a 60k maintance.... talked to the dealership and they said it would be like 800. Anybody know anywhere else to get a quote and that does good work?

 

I take it your not the DIY type. What does the 60k involve? fuel filter, pcv, sparkplugs maybe, anti-freeze and thermostat. I'd do it for you but I don't have time. Though for the right price...
What's the going shop rates now days, $70-90/hr?
