Wuz up wuz gud fam I'm curious if anyone here has done a roof rail delete on a 02-07 impreza or wrx wagon? I don't utilize them enough and really like the look with them gone. Or if anyone has the delete plates, I'd love to buy them off you..
I did it briefly on my 05 OBS, iirc i made some rail drip rail covers from an extra set of them. Not sure if subaru sells them without provisions for the rack. Edit: checked online and it looks like they're $25-70 a side new oem.
Haha. Have been contemplating the same thing for my new one. Apparently the Saab 9-2x came standard with the rails "deleted" so you can use those pieces after taking your rail setup out. I've heard they're about $75 a side from Subaru (plus any broken clips) and I'm a little hesitant to spend that much on a beater car. Ideally I'd find some in a junkyard or something.
