It's hard to tell from the video, is your STFT jumping around a lot when just holding a steady speed on a flat road? Or is it only jumping around a lot when you get on and off the accelerator?

It moves around a bit to like 2-10 or so.

Lol great, spilled a full beer on my laptop keyboard. I'll give whoever figures out whats wrong with this Wrx, a year old Toshiba Portege laptop (was 1k$), needs a keyboard lol. Unless this keyboard magically starts working again, keys are all messed up, half of them arent working. Laptop works fine though. Intel i5 CPU, 4 gigs of DDR3 ram, 250gb hd, extremely lightweight with a 5-6 hour battery, probably the lightest laptop I've ever had. Also have a car charger and home charger for it.

So is it jumping around that much even when holding a steady speed?

Just went through the whole thread again and I realized, I forgot about something! You said the previous owner hit a tree with it. You need to pull all the front timing covers off including the crank pulley, check the current timing on all 5 timed pulleys. Before putting it all back together, remove the belt quick and check for a bent or loose pulley. Also it wouldn't be a bad idea to pull the cam sensor and while rotating the engine slowly, check for any damage on the teeth that the cam sensor picks up on. If you want me to explain it in detail or to write out the procedure for you PM me your number and I can explain it all. Also, my offer still stands that if you come down to the cities we can look at it and get it diagnosed for you...

I will try and sell something here to get some cash together, and see if I can make a trip down there. I'll supply the pizza, beer and what not, lol. The timing sounds pretty likely now that I think about it! I've never messed with the timing on a vehicle, and the plastic timing covers are cracked, so it's very likely. I figured the radiator got pushed in just enough to crack them was all.

Did you fix that inlet leak? As said previously in this thread, even a "small" leak can cause major issues with fueling.

Looks like a post-maf leak based on the quick look I took at that log. When in vaccum, the system is taking in more air (++STFTs), and when pressurized, the car is leaking air and is going extremely rich (hence the -25 STFTs).

Pressure test the whole system and check for leaks.

Been waiting for my new Godspeed inlet to arrive. Looks to have good reviews, even people switching out their Perrin inlets for them due to other inlets collapsing. Haven't had internet so wasn't able to get on here. Not fixed yet, will see if this does it, lol.

I will also be taking off the whole intake system, and pull off the intake manifold when changing inlets. I have new gaskets for the intake, so might as well check everything over.

That sounds pretty sweet. I'm open almost any day of the week or weekend if you wanna see what it's doing sometime. New inlet should be here Friday.

So I got my new inlet yesterday, and due to being very impatient and wanting to get it done, I installed it outside in the dark, with a flashlight, lol. What a pain in the ass, took me a good 4 hours to get everything done. Installed the Godspeed inlet, and it does its job very well. I dont see the reason for a 220$ inlet, versus this. Cant imagine quality being any different. Fits great, and seems impossible to make it collapse, even by hand. I've put on 60 miles in town now, the first 30 being easy miles, since resetting the ECU, and car already runs better. Pulls harder, idles better, and no engine codes yet.

Feeling pretty happy about it! Only paid 70$ for the inlet off eBay, so if anyones looking to get a new one, I'd say save yourself the money and get that GSP one.
