New Show-N-Shine details. We are just going to have the members of the spring event judge the cars. Everyone who shows up will get to vote for 3 cars for the Show-N-Shine. The winners will be added up and then prizes will be given out. In the case of a tie the two people will have to fight to the death..... i mean we will flip a coin

New SWAG with a new LOGO will be at the event! T-shirts are $15, be the first to own one.

Membership can be purchased at the door for an extra $2 ($12 total). This might be a smart way to go for non-members who plan on going to the summer, fall and winter events (you get a discount on the fees).

 

So what are those 3 categories to vote for?

Does any car that shows up automatically qualify for the competition?

Great Question. No more catigories, just popular vote wins.... similar to COTM. Anyone who attends can enter their car, and everyone who attends has the option to vote for 3 entered cars.

 

What no loudest roar from a car category?!?!?! This would be the most fun category to judge! Theres plenty of guys here who would compete for this and although i would likely not be in the running, can you please make it a category? Who's with me??!!? who wants to see some cars shoot flames? i do thats for certain. lolz

that kinda sucks for us folks who don't have 10 grand to put into an already expensive car....its hard enough doing the small things..

I'm guessing half the cars in the "show" won't be shined. It'll probably be more hanging out event than a mirrors and roped off cars on jack stands kinda show n shine sorta thing. I could be wrong though.

 

The idea behind the whole event is to hang out with fellow club and forum members. The Show-N-Shine is just something to do while hanging out. I give you 110% for being on the mark.

Not sure about the Swap Meet, this is the first I have heard of it, and I set the event up

FYI - you can take the TAP TALK droid signature off in settings, that what I did.

 

i know but i like 2 represent ok because i enjoyed the swap meet that we had last year and i have some more stuff ive accumulated id like to sell if we choose to do one. if we dont i dont want to haul it all down though being alot of it is larger items.

 

I think it is a great idea, but we don't have anything planned for this event for you. PM me and maybe we can set something up besides this meet.

This is going to be a fun time! There is now a 95% chance that i will not be bringing the '66 chevy, its now at the mechanic and auto body guy today, and will most likely be there for a few weeks.

i will, but now i have to shine it up because it wount be original, and it doesnt have quite the same roar that a V8 with 2 foot glasspacks has.... but it ill be able to go around corners!

I would make the cars shine, or do what you think will get the most votes. Brain and our vendors are kicking out some really cool prizes for the event.
