it don't start till 2pm so i can come to this for an hour and half or so. their meet is bout half hour away

This for me as well. I will plan to be there, and I'll have a non-member with me.

My car is clean, but not show-n-shine ready.

 

it's almost 1am and some of the ZRT crew and I just finished up in the garage. we're working hard to get the car operational again but somehow it appears a front axle has self destructed and our spare is not an STI one... so we'll be pushing hard bright and early tomorrow (well, today I guess) to get things fixed up so we can make it on time

front left corner is completely apart right now. no ball joint, no strut, no tie rod, no axle. prognosis = not good

 

Yup, this event is still on even with the rain incoming. Looks like the storm should pass by early afternoon, so we may push back the car voting a bit, but we'll play it by ear. Hope to see folks there.

 

Carl I have some HQ photos from NT1 if you or dave will be there for me to give you a copy of them. Dave had mentioned that you wanted some, so I put a disc together of both ZRT cars.

 

At this point we will not be there. We're can't get the car back together due to impossible to find on a Saturday parts we need.

yea like Dave said, the LAX meet is scheduled on a race so that will not work.

Yes, big thanks to the vendors, the volunteers, and especially our members. Tony and I were keeping close tabs on what was happening weather-wise while in Wisconsin. Thanks for saying screw you to mother nature and still showing up and having a good time! This is what MNSOC is all about. Throwing large events, getting together, and enjoying each others' cars and company, and supporting the Subaru scene in Minnesota. And having some great prizes to give away is a nice cherry-on-top!

Next up, the LAX cruise on July 31st! We're looking for ANY input onto what people enjoyed (and didn't enjoy) at the Spring BBQ, and incorporate those ideas into the LAX cruise. Also, volunteers are always needed to lend a hand with everything from directing traffic to organizing the route to picture taking and videography. Please speak-up in the LAX thread (http://mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php/37409-MNSOC-2010-LAX-Cruise-–-Saturday-July-31st) or at any of our officer meetings, held every first Monday of the month.
