Seat Belt

I have a 02 Wrx and my seat belt is squeaking on the pillar trim right where the seat belt comes out trim from the floor, anyone ever have this happen? it is like every time I move it squeaks which is a lot, going over bumps and such.

Yep, take the pillar piece off and you will see where it is rubbing. I took a die grinder and cut the back of it where it was rubbing and no more squeak.

 

I sprayed a lil bit of silicone spray-the fabric safe industrial stuff-on it. No More squeak.

 

what brand and where can I buy it? like a napa or something?
