Sweet. Mario Kart action will commence. I don't know if I will be able to do two weekend cruises up there. If Martin is going on the subaru day...I might cruise up with my mustang with you guys, instead of cruising up with TCS so we can hang out.
Olive garden is good, but there is allways a 20 min wait, and if a bunch of us go its going to take forever to get seated
For those of you who need race gas, I know that 95Lwrx does, my friend told me there is a place in Duluth. I will get directions and go check it out ahead of time.
We could easily accommodate 20 people down at Old Chicago. We've taken parties of over 50 before. I'd just have to write it down in the reservation book. It would have to be before 4:00 since UMD men's hockey is in town that weekend, and its absolute insanity. As far as parking goes, I think everyone could park in the ramp by the theater in front of the deck. Jeremy knows where I'm talking about. At about 4:30-5:00, Canal Park is gonna get nuts, and parking sucks.
^although it would be fun to show off ou cars in rush hour (canal park style) i think we would prefer to have easier parking and cheaper parking lol
Agreed, it isn't the capacity in the restaraunt that I'm concerned about. and I certainly don't want to walk from the DECC over there.
The rock and the roll. I was daydreaming about last years Duluth trip. Damn am I stoked. This year is gonna rock. Who is the designated "Drunk Readymix" babysitter?
I will take the chore up until we get to the hotel, at which point we'll leave you on a 25ft leash! lol
no one can tame the mix while he is under the influence. and no one wants to be within 10 feet of you the next morning..... especially on the dirt bike trails
In lieu of crimes against personal responsibility, moderation, and maturity...I will take the liberty of crowning myself the official MNSubaru Drunk.
If you go, and then decline the drunken hotel antics, you have defeated half the fun of the trip for yourself.
I really hope I can go sounds like fun, but I dont think that I will be able to drive up there myself.
Are we doing the rally backroads...I may bring the legacy instead of the sti for the trip should I end up buying it. I will be participating in the hotel debauchery though regardless of what car I bring.
yes I am currently looking at a 93 legacy L green 4 door for a mileage/daily driver/ice racing beater I wanna have fun in the dirt with you guys instead of just riding along like last year. Hopefully I'll be less hungover and enjoy it more.
i hope we do the back roads but i dont think ill be taking my car on it this year.. i cant afford to replace new struts and such
