Hey all -- so my wife and I have always loved our Subarus but recently due to two children she got a larger car (Ford Edge). She needs new rear breaks and typically I would just stop by Break and Equipment Warehouse and hack at it myself but I feel a little less comfortable because her Ford is newer and I've only worked on Subies, and even when I did stuff it was really basic maintenance.

If anyone would be willing to take this on either we can just pay you or I can assist, it would be really awesome. We could obviously just take it in but I always prefer working on it myself or at the very least having someone independent work on it.

    Thanks!
    Matt

I'm willing to bet that the brake job on the Ford really isn't that much different than any Subaru brake job. Assuming it has disc brakes (most likely), new pads, rotors, grease the slide pins, etc, and you're good.
