yes...as said...selling my 96 2.5L complete long block! well...selling it..it comes with everything complete for you guys out there that has a 2.2L ....i know for sure someone will buy it...maybe for the heads or crank....still in good condition...might have to do a little mod to it...but it still runs strong...give me a reasonable offer... wagonL

how different is a phase 1 shortblock from a phase 2. If they're the same i probably take it if not sold yet. Is this a complete swap?? harness and ecu??? let me know... Npis Lauj
How different is it??? Can everything on phase 2 swap right over and fit with little to no mods??? what r the differences??? just so we are on the same page here... i'm just talking about the difference between the short blocks and not the difference between phase 1 & phase 2 heads if that helps any?
Somthing with the shape of the crank....it shouldnt be an issue to swap heads from a phaze 2 to a 1 or vice versa.
you wont' gain anything switching to phase 1 motor unless you can get the heads to work with it. the big differences between phase 1 and 2 are the head designs, the phase 1 has ports of size and shapes identical to the jdm heads which are alot bigger and flows better than the phase 2 heads.
