The picture doesn't do justice. The big ass Taurus was almost blocking me in. I should have used a better camera angle.
So at first glance, you might think this isn't that bad: I mean, the Lexus isn't in the handicap spot, is parked in pretty straight, what's the problem? It's parked on the sidewalk access ramp that's there for the handicapped parking.
I grew up when these roamed the streets. I don't remember the overhang being that long. I think it's Shopped. The side marker looks slightly stretched.
Wow, its been a long time since anyone has posted in this thread! I know people still suck at parking, here's proof.
Probably a FedEx driver...they always leave the door open on the truck when they come up to the house.
They were actually in the car, so I guess it's not as bad? Lol Since I'm a FedEx driver, I can say from experience that my door is open all summer! Only the passenger side though. FedEx Ground can have both doors open, since they're technically contractors.
You missed my obscure point that the FedEx bread vans have sliding doors, so it doesn't really make any difference on the truck. Really? So all drivers in FedEx vehicles (not the all white rentals that are sometimes employed by some carriers) are not actual employees? Interesting. Why is it I get some things (never anything vital) via FedEx on Saturdays when I did not pay for expedited shipping? Has Saturday become just another day for FedEx? When I worked in mail order pharmacy, we had to pay through the nose for a Saturday delivery when we chose that delivery option.
Fedex Ground was another delivery company acquired by FedEx. They are pretty much a different company. They are salaried, benefits are lacking, and I would never work for them. There are routes that always run on Saturday, and lately we've just been delivering everything we have to stay ahead of the game. I don't work Saturdays, but during the week, we deliver Wednesday stuff on Tuesday's, Thursday stuff Wednesday ect. Whatever is in the building, we deliver. We used to sort out all the "next day" stuff, but now we just get rid of everything.
It probably broke down before they could pull all the way into the space. Or EyeSight needs to be recalibrated.
