You should hear what I say to people who can't park, people should be embarassed when they disreguard rules that are made so that everyone can go through life more easily. come on, does it occur to anyone that a car being parked in areas like I took a picture of actually make parking lots more dangerous to people on foot?
That's comparing apples and oranges... However, I didn't look at the sign in your pictures closely. That's a fire lane and (at least in this town, it can vary based on city ordinance), even occupied vehicles and standing pedestrians cannot occupy it at any time.
I don't mind the people who are at least in the cars and parked in the lanes as much. Usually they'll have been removed from the area by the first arriving PD officer before we get there. Otherwise, they tend to move really quickly when you light them up with dual air horns at point blank range.
I think if occupied vehicles are prohibited from stopping in an area the signage usually reads "No Standing" or "No Stopping", rather than "No Parking".

Well if you are inside your car and someone comes to tow you, Just drive away. Thus making it legal to park... Ha ha the bend the rules until you get pinched move. It doesnt natter if you are in it or not... its illegal unless the sign says passenger loading area 15mins. Parking is parking wether you are in the vehicle or not. Good find Frogy.
I'm pretty sure the Advance that Jason works at on south broadway in Rochester is the epicenter of bad parking. Literally every time I've been there someone in a pickup has parked at a 45* angle through 2 spaces right in front of the store.
Hang out at Discount north, 35 parking, spots most of them are empty, and people still pull right up to the front door. Yellow curb and all. Not to mention, blocking the handicap spots.
