All of the guns in this movie have been digitally replaced by ... walkie talkies.

No, that shouldn't be funny (but it is) - I agree with Dizmal. No matter what, and no matter how secure a place is, no matter the police force and no matter the safety measures, some loony is always going to get their 15 minutes of fame. At least he was a "normal" looking kid. After Columbine, everyone who wore a black trench coat to school was immediately suspected of hiding an urge to kill everyone around them. I had to retire my trench coat just so I could walk down the hall to my locker without hearing something about how everyone was afraid I was going to come in and kill people. I even got dragged to the *counselor* because I wear black and like "evil" music. So yeah. At least he was normal looking.

Ok it looks like this jackass killer guy made a bunch of videos inbetween the shooting gallery sessions and sent the footage to NBC via overnight mail (which, ironically didn't get there overnight because he put the wrong address on the package).

Yeah. Gun laws, video games, hollywood violence, are of no consequence. This guy was a complete and total psycho, those video's are just 100% proof.

I just want to add "and go on rampages" to my first post. I dont care about the whole "having guns on campus" as long as A. No one is using them to threaten people, and B. No one is getting EFFING shot by some delta bravo that doesnt even warrant the title of a human being.

I agree-Toting students or faculty may have been able to take this guy down.
I agree-Having a ton of guns on campus may drastically change the way schools are able to operate, and with the level of alcohol/substance abuse on most campuses, (as has always been) kids packing heat may not be a great idea.

I think the sad part is how everything BUT the shooter has been blamed for something so far. It is NO ONES FAULT except the shooter's that he purposely went and bought two guns, loaded them, brought chain with him, planned out which area's he'd have the best opportunity to kill in, and then went and executed his plan.

I agree its pretty crazy that he got the guns and that he was able to make a return visit to the campus. That could have been prevented, however. The numbers were filed off the guns-did he buy them legally?

The school should have been shut down after the shooting however. Period.

I agree its awesome that they haven't blamed it on violent video games or music, for the first time in forever. i'm just waiting for them to come out that he was a CS addict and then it will all make sense to the media. maybe he was a wow addict that got hacked and lost his account...

anyways, what i find interesting after watching his video is the fact that he focuses on being a martyr for christianity more than anything else in it. it is very scary how similar it is to muslim fanatics (suicide bombers) and there videos that i have seen aired by the media, yet our media here will not recognize it as that.

just becuase he was christian he won't be veiwed/labeled as a religous fanatic.

trust me man he WAS NOT a christian... he is about as much of a christian by calling himself one as I am a car by sitting in a garage for the day!!!

bull**** is what I say... I am a Christian... people piss me off, but there is no way I would take another life yet alone 30+ of them under the guise of being a christian martyr...

compare a Muslim Martyr to a Christian Matryr.... Muslim one is called a martyr because he kills himself and xxxxxx amount of others... a christian is classed as a martyr cause he lays down his life for the sake of others... HUGE DIFFERENCE mate.. and the fact that almost NO Muslim cleric or practicing Muslim condemns suicide bombings etc, but almost EVERY true believer 'Christian' condemns acts like this done in the name of a false belief / idealogy / understanding of the faith.... especially when a madman like this guy or people who blow up abortion clinics, in the name of God.. they aint serving the God I follow mate....

this may be deleted for religion talks, but it is the off topic forum where more freedom should be allowed as long as personal attacks arent made... either way i am just responding to the nonsense written above

Wow. I do lots of thinking about this stuff and I've never thought about that basic difference. I always thought it was the extremist that were just nuts like the terrorists or David Koresh (sp?)

P.S. I retired both of my trench coats many years ago as some others have said and I usually don't care what other people think. I was just too tired of the comments to wear it anymore.

Exactly Nathan. And the same thing goes for Muslim 'martyrs' that you hear about on the news. They majority of Muslims in the world don't believe that blowing yourself and a few dozen innocents is part of the religion or belief system. It is just a few crazy types that misinterperit or outright pervert the ideas and beliefs to their own crazy ideals that blow people up. What this idiot did had nothing, absolutely NOTHING to do with the Christian belief system at all. Same as those jackass Phelps nutjobs that think God brings Tsunamis and Hurricanes and other forms of death on the world because the US is tolerant of gay people. That's just lunacy. Jesus' whole message was that we are all responsible for our own sins (and alot of other things but I'm not going to preach here) God doesn't smite a bunch of innocent people because of what someone else does. It doesn't work that way. Natural disasters happen and they have nothing to do with God, God doesn't make an earthquake, movement of the tectonic plates does it. God is more interested in how you deal with the problems that happen than with making problems for you.

Bottom line, it's knuckleheads like this that give Christianity, and all religions for that matter, a bad name.
