Buerkle Buick and Honda. Oppppsss I mean Buerkle Honda and Hyundai. I'm a Honda Technician. VTEC POWA!!!
Don't they have offices on Energy Park Dr (which I take to work each day)? My boss was telling me that his first tech job was for secure computing...and he had thought that they went under around 10 years ago. And then we drove by those offices!
where does the ME nerd fit in? with a minor in math nerdiness? I work on campus. recycling and shipping/central recieving i get to drive one of these fly box trucks also one of these (except ours is white)
Hey I own one of ^^^ those. I know I just moved up in the nerd standings. Hmmm ME I think probably about the same as EE but the math minor moves you up for sure:laugh::biggrin:. At least we can admit we are nerds. So many people are in denial.
Yea but mine is a '91 so a little rusty.... runs great though. Parked for the winter because I did not feel like dealing with the brake pad that sheared off the backing plate. Does yours have the pass through door from the cab to the box?
i've got a part for you... in my pants :ugh: i need to find a job for the summer. updating resume fun fun fun
I'm 1 of 3 system admins that take care of about 500 stores. Basically, I browse teh internets for 8 hours a day. My cube is the typicall 6'x6' cube.
Work at downtown Mpls at Target.com as a Lead Data Analyst. More fun at work than when I was at IBM. Lot's of nice things to look at too!
ME nerd here. I can't take pictures at work. But here goes what we make. Kind of a crappy pic, but we make tooling for the can industry.
Most of you have already seen where I work during the day, here are a couple pics of my other offices... Hey B1Bone...score me a checkride and I'll let you drive whichever you want, with the lights and siren
I'm a software developer at a reinsurance brokerage company in Bloomington (office is about 3 1/2 minutes from Bloom Suby). Been here a little over ten years and can't complain. Work in a cube farm with 12 other guys in a relatively small room that everyone else has dubbed 'The Bat Cave'. This is due to the fact that I've unscrewed the fluorescent lightbulbs above my cube and several others from their sockets. No pics as there's no longer enough light available for photographs. wall of tvs, we have a relatively large department of actuaries that do some kinda cool things (hurricane catastrophe modeling and such). Not sure we have any openings currently, but if you're serious I can keep an eye out for you. Company name is Benfield - I think they post on Monster.com.
I was a consultant in global services...left the consultant lifestyle in 2002. There were some pretty sweet perks that came with that job, but travelling 48 out 52 weeks a year was just a bit much. Most of my work, when not travelling, was out of the house. But when I was in the office it was down at the US Bank Building. Where are you located...and what are you currently doing there?
I work for UHG at their Command Center managing their corporate environment. Unfortunately I cannot take pictures, but its basically working in the basement with lots of HUGE monitoring screens showing all the activies thoughout our whole environment, including the weather, mainframe, security, network, applications, sites and more. "Houston we have a problem!"
I work for all of these: http://www.kstp.com/ http://www.kstc45.com/ http://www.am1500.com/ http://www.ks95.com/ http://www.fm107.fm/ http://www.reelzchannel.com/
Same here, though I'm down in Rochester. Just got psuedo-transferred too, so I'm now I'm working with the IBM Director build team out of Raleigh. Should be a nice change of pace until I'm done at the end of the year. Always good to be working on a product that quite a few people are familiar with. Especially since the product I used to build (Virtualization Engine) got ****-canned last year.
well, right now i am a full time sudent. I need to start looking for something to do in the summer to support my modding bug
I am in the ING building, 111, 100, and 20 Washington Ave S. 2nd level support (deskside), but that might be changing soon. I think I'm going to start looking for work else where. I love it here, but out-sourcing is becoming a scary reality on this account.
I just took a few more pictures today. My building is located next to the new location of the Minnesota Shubert Theatre. It's been on Discovery, and lots of other TV shows (and the Guiness Book of world records) as the heaviest building ever moved on rubber tires. The same group owns that, and my building. My building Manager has taken me in there before, and I decided to snap a few pics this time. They're letting me take some of the seats. I'll be refinishing, and re-upholstering them, and putting them in my home theatre. A nice bit of history. Anyway, enough of my yapping. here are the pics. It feels VERY creepy when you're in there
Oh, and here are a couple others of our theatre. This is the stage from the balcony Our Scene Shop Dimmer Racks The inside of the dimmer racks. Probably my least favorite thing to work in.
I work at RFA Engineering in EP. I work basically for Caterpillar on marine and power generation engines. Like this: http://www.cat.com/cda/layout?m=54169&x=7 I design and model engine components.
I wouldn't know that, I'm still pretty low on the pole. But you can check out the website and submit a resume. You never know. http://www.rfamec.com/
sorry to bring up this old thread but i work at sam's tire shop in fridley.. just letting you know i can help with mounting and balancing wheels and tires for a very small price..($10 cash)....not saying discount tire is bad or anything but i call and they quoted me $30 per 18'' rim for balancing and mounting.....that's $120+ for all...
Hey thats great, I can user your services as winter come around again. I had problems with the Sam's in Maple Grove, they refused to mount tires that were not bought from them.
Holy Silent Hill feeling techy ... :eek3: Anyway, I work for Ameriprise. I'd post pictures but they frown on that. I take phone calls and get yelled at all day long. To be honest, I don't really like my job ... and I don't know if I wanna go anymore ...
