Lets see some of the MNSubaru members workspaces. I'm sure a few of you have pretty sweet setups. From what I've seen of his build thread @xluben 's setup seems to be pretty solid. I'll start out by sharing mine, it's pretty small but when kept clean it can handle a lot. Tuck under, stays cool in the summer, warm in the winter 210v Electric heater to take the edge off in the winter 2 stall with a side room and a bit of extra space in the back. Garage PC (dumpster laptop) for the youtube how-to's or opposedforces.com 28 inch Visio TV with apps (Usually Top Gear UK playing or MCM) local PLEX media server Mini-Fridge for garage fuel aka beer Treadmill -Eazy
Rented workspace is the worse workspace. subaru didn't really fit in the garage so I bought a rabbit.
My garage isn't anything too special. It's a 3 car but there isn't much excess space. It's unfinished and no heat. Definitely nice to be able to store all 3 cars indoors, but the work space is tight and not great in the winter. With some insulation, lighting, and heater I would be pretty happy with it, but I haven't had time to do any of that. My other "workspace" is my office/photo area.
Typical 2 car garage. I would love having a larger garage like everyone, but for now the 2 car will have to do. It's pretty tight for space with the oven, work bench, and sand blast cabinet.
Good thread here! This might be the push I need to starting filling the space in my heated 4 car garage!
Yea I've been piecing things together over the last year and a half to get a side business going. Hence the large oven in the corner. Wish I had a dedicated space for it but beggers can't be choosers.
patiently counting down the months until I finish my degree so I can move to MT and build the dream garage/house (in that order) I'd like to (re)explore vacuum bagging Carbon fiber again
The garage gets packed up every year for the winter since it is detached and not heated so no photos at the moment, but a month or two back I put together an indoor work space. Since the WRX sold, I have been avoiding messing with the FXT beyond aesthetics, and started to get more into wood working and building odds and ends that way. This was when the space was first finished. Seems to keep changing week by week as I think of different ways to set it up, but loving it so far.
