Site update help

    it could be just me but i cant see my sent message. some time i send 2 message cause i forget that i allready sent one. so it woul be nice to see sent messages.
    also for the search is there a way where it will seach for the all of the works in a post not just one word.
    for expamle if u search for oil fillter number u will getany post with the words oil, filter, number will show up. if it can search all 3 word in the same post so it will olny come up with oil fillters numbers

    Well, keep sent messages are in the user control panel. So if you look in there you will find the check box for keeping the messages (or at the bottom of every PM).

    As for the search, the new search will/is supposed to work better, but then again it is all about what the user adds.

    Ok, so other than Jason, anyone else??

    Time is getting close. VB is still on track for a gold release around Christmas time. I am hoping to get the dev site up and running on the gold when it gets released, then get it converted over for our needs and try and get some kind of theme on it. I would like to get the live site converted over first part of Jan as long as I can get everything working and looking good.

    Just a update. The gold release has come out, I have done the updates to my dev site. As of now we are looking for anyone that is willing to pitch in on some graphics help. As soon as we get some kind of theme nailed down I will be able to do the upgrade to the live site.

    I have been out of Photoshop for a year, but prior to that I had 4 years experience. I'd be glad to do what I can for the club.

    At the moment, all we really need is assistance with the top banner. See this thread.

    However, once the new site goes live, we will probably by looking for the following:

    -Users to point out/assist with any misc design flaws
    -Assistance with customized thread/forum icons
    -Seasonal/Holiday MNSOC banners

    So yeah, keep your head up for anything you see. Feel free to PM myself or any of the other officers if you have an idea and/or thoughts.

    its kinda hard to read when your typing your reply in the bottom of the threads, it might just be my computer though.

    except can we set the dark theme with default white lettering not black?? an y ideas...???

    edit: I guess when it posts it is white but typing is black.. weird

    Again, it is kinda a work in progress. The changeover wasn't quite as easy as I had hoped. So there will be changes coming as I get around to them. Fixing the text in the quick reply box is on my list.

    Dark theme = win.

    Minor quibble - is there a way to make a "work friendly" theme with no cars on the logo? ;)

    Ok, before folks starting posting in here, we know of a few issues, that are being worked on. These are:

    -The "post" text in the dark theme.
    -The "you do not have access to view this page" error on the home page (www.mnsubaru.com).

    Additionally, the forum architecture has changed, so any of you who have bookmarks that go directly to the forum will have to recreate them. The forum link is now: http://mnsubaru.com/forums/forum.php, not http://mnsubaru.com/forums/index.php. This will not be changed back, so just edit/create a new shortcut.
