I got a 45min drive... bicycle isnt an option.. so I am on the hunt for another motorcycle.. although what I want to spend my money on it wont be getting 50+ mpg... hahaha but it sure iwll beat the 15.2mpg I currently get ($85 to fill up this morning sucked ass)
My first step will be to stop driving my full-size crewcab, mildly lifted truck as a DD ( at 10mpg) and start driving my lifted Cherokee (15ish) After the jeeps on the road, I'm putting an eg33 in my 97' LGT with a Wrx tranny, and tune the LINKecu for 87oct if I can do it safely. If I can get 20-25mpg I'll be happy for a while.
My company pays for my car and gas. So I'll likely just keep driving the way I always do. 50k miles per year on the odometer, lol.
Actually, after doing a little math I'm pretty close to $300 a month just for my work days not including weekends. Considering that figure only accounts for myself, I'm not far off from you.
