^ i believe that. the ground is still too warm to let snow accumulate on the ground. it needs to snow and be below freezing consistantly for a while before we start to see snow on the ground. sorry, no shens for you
Yeah, if there was any accumulation, it would melt extremely fast. Don't worry, you'll get your shens - especially if it stays cold
My shoes don't arrive till mid week next week better not snow or I won't be able to stop . Ran to many lights last year at 430am living in co on a premature snow.
The ground temperature is well above freezing, you do not need snow tires, you will not see snow on the streets, you will not have difficulty stopping. You will not be out playing around in a winter freaking wonderland.
And anyway, I drove on summer performance tires for 4 winters and never once had an issue aside from clipping a curb while goofing off in a parking lot. REGARDLESS, you wont need snow tires to live through the weekend, it isn't going to accumulate on the roads. Rochester is predicting a possibility of UP TO an inch of accumulation...if this happens, it will likely accumulate on the top of the grass and nowhere else. I can still comfortably walk barefoot on the pavement, it isn't cold enough to accumulate snow on the roads.
(looks out window in South St Paul) Yup, Dave is smoking crack again. Nothing but sun and a few scattered clouds over here.
I think Dave was trolling, but it failed because there was a hint of Gaylord there. Gaylord is getting dumped on. With snow of course.
Looks like the storm entered Gaylord sideways from the left. With as wide as the storm was, I'm sure Gaylord was filled to the rim
It does appear that Gaylord is on the receiving end of things with this passing flurry of white stuff
Makes me glad that I put the snows on before I left for India. Even if this doesn't stick, there'll be more to come!
Didn't stick to the road but it was for sure slick(er) with my worn out 70s. The deck out back had about a 1/2 inch sitting on it and the yard just enough to cove the lawn with grass still able to be seen.
So I wake up and look out my window. It's sunny as hell, with a layer of snow on my deck, all of the cars, and the grass, which also has a layer of fallen leaves on top of the snow. MN friggin rules.
so apparently minnesotans forgot how to drive in snow again...at 5:30am on my way to work there were 5 people backwards in the ditch...and summer tires suck balls on icy roads
I don't know what it was, but the roads were more icy than I can remember. Maybe I just forgot. RE-01R's didn't help the situation.
Yup 8:30 headed to hyland. Saw many icy patches with no accidents. My BFGoodrich g-Force Sports def don't like the ice.
I may eat crow and put my winters on tomorrow.. I refuse to drive from Jordan to Minneapolis this next week if there is as good of a chance of rain/snow/mix most days this week... my 35 profile rubber wont like me... and neither will my cloth seats
You guys are slacking with the updates here, apparently it's snowing in Mankato ... where's the panic?
This is my favorite new smiley on this site. He's even cooler than :wavey: ..and he fits in so well with us, see? :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :hsugh: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:
bump! hello snow..you anger me with your white bitter flakes that spite me every moment you touch the ground :ugh:
