I'll be heading out to haugen around 8:30 tonight to get there by 10pm. I wish there were more peeps wanting to have fun tonight so we could split the cost of another room.

Tony- I'll text you when I'm getting near.

    nah just mini side

wasnt here last year but apparently one of the kids on gteam saw it happen. Was still living in Colorado. I would beat the living piss out of someone if I saw it happening. I can climb up the rope faster then they could cut threw the rope. Not sure what happened this year but I was over on south and decided that I wanted to go to the park with my kids and almost there noticed it was broke so we took our 15 min break. I wonder if they got it fixed for tomorrow since I have more practice from 9-12. Hopefully I wont be hung over, if so oh well.

Hey Tony, it was nice to meet you last night. Sorry I didn't stay and hit the bar with you guys, all the friends I wanted to come so we could have a good time ditched and the little brother wanted to snowboard so I just took some runs. Maybe next week or something we can all go again and actually have some drinks and try to avoid any concusions this time, right? haha.

P.S. I tried to find your subie, was it there? I saw a black wagon, a white wagon and an older bug eyed black wagon.

i really hope they fix it. All the pros from the dc snowboard team are here on a tour, they are going to Buck hill today and will be at Hyland tomorrow. I know Buck didn't even set anything up and if Hylands rope is down, thats gonna make for them guys laughing and leaving. Don't expect to see Ken Block in his sti either if the snow team thinks this place is a joke. (Which I think hes actually here as well, but snowboarding also and hes actually pretty good from what I've seen).

Just had a look at Hyland. The rope is up and running. No signs of DC or KB.

just rode whitecap mountain yesterday (my place of work) and they had anywhere from 2-3 FEET of powder depending on how the winds blew it. got to build a good 25ft booter into a powder stash and hucked for a good while. only two lifts were open but my boss said that a week ago the mountain was all grass. i love winter

    Head Injuries are Fun!!!!

You saw my wifes then, its a 06 black impreza wagon.

But yeah, not wearing my helmet was so damn stupid. I defiantly learned from my ignorance.

Cliffs: I didnt think i was going to ride any rails.
I ended up riding them all night.
landed in a rutt at the end of the night.
    Knocked myself out.

    Helmets = FTW

I also rocked myself bad last night. we had a boxes clinic at work. i was doing fine and then my board stuck on my last run. i twisted my board, fell onto my back, arched the box the wrong way on my back and fell onto my head and flipped backwards onto the snow.... infront of all of my co-instructors. almost puked, road down the hill.... then had to take 2 more runs to get to my car. needless to say i went home early from work and i can't put my own socks on currently.

this week is starting to look like last week, if I can't break my house or my car then i guess i break myself. i must have really done something bad because Karma has been on me for the past few days.

Buck Hill has a Monday through Friday early bird lift ticket specially priced at $12 from 10am to 1pm. It went up $2 from last season, bastards! Anyway, it's still a good deal if anyone is looking for an inexpensive way to get some riding in and has day hours off during the week. No lift lines, freshly groomed runs, and lap after lap of fun.

Anyone interested in getting a regular weekly ride going at Buck? snwbdr94, you down with it?

Buck was pretty good this morning. Not too cold, no wind, flat light went away after the sun burned off the cloud coverage. The snow was good too, not too hard, even a bit soft but not too soft. The ice rink surface hasn't set yet. The base held on to the edges and didn't let go. Me likes that.

^ Coo... But don't you live up in Canada? Buck is down in Iowa, right on the Florida boarder. It would take you half the day to get down there. I'm not trying to discourage you, I'm just sayin' ;)

There's one, who else is in? I'll need some more people to help me carry tonyM off the hill when he cracks his dome again. And if Flatline and ofspunk7 are in I'll need to let Ski Patrol know ahead of time to be on the ready. Looks like 95lwrx, Sir Lance-A-Lot, turbo_turtle, and WillC are the only ones left standin' after the weekend.

Freak accident yesterday at hyland, caught my heel edge when I was going to butter into a mega spin on to the butterbox. When I caught the edge, I kept spinning to the side of the box and managed to hit my face/tooth on the metal coping. Apparently you could hear the smack pretty well from 10ft away.
