SoCal Porting

    Anyone have experiences working with Socal Porting?

    I'm thinking about sending in my stock turbo(16wrx - Garrett MGT2259s) to get the compressor wheel upgraded and ported along with a turbosmart wg.

    Have you thought about using a local shop?

    I'm pretty sure that Midwest Turbo Connection in Hudson could take care of those items for you.

    I have no experience with SoCal, but MTC did me solid with my VF 48 turbo.

    Do they upgrade compressor wheels? That's the main reason why I thought about doing it with SoCal. A few people have been able to get out 400+ with an upgraded wheel on the "stock" turbo

    I was going to upgrade mine but decided against it because I didn't really have the cash for it. They advertise upgraded wheels on their website.

    I'd call and ask. They are good dudes and the turn around time is great!
