I'm not much of a sticker or decal for that matter, but Xtreme Auto Salon of WA took great care of me in this case so I asked them to put a few on the car, its the least I could do.

Yeah, that might look like someone climaxed all over the hook, but I can assure you that was there before it arrived to my house.

Thanks a bunch guys its been a long time waiting. Sorry I did not respond sooner, I immediately went back to bed after posting this. I dont usually get up this early. But I hope the statement "good things come to those who wait" stand true for me. This has been quite an experience, just like a roller coaster from one car to another. This of course is on the high end of the journy. I drove it twice today and so far soo good. Went thru and took care of some of the simple things. Will spend more time on the rest of the car as the week goes.

I am still debating just how low I want lower this car. Because the original height is pretty low, but I'll play with it. I am not looking forward to replacing the front lip.

Welcome party will be next weekend at DCTC with the BMW's! Stopby for some lunch and rides.

I am too tired to be building anymore cars, so after a few months of not having a fast weekend car, I found this one and couldn't pass it up. Lots of money went into this car. Almost all of it was already completed when I made the deal. The seller added the final pieces to close the deal and lots more.

Although I have picked up all the stuff out of the car, she still needs a good washing so I doubt she will be ready for any interviews, at least untill the weekend.

It has been a while since I drove a manuel apparently. After driving the 240sx and than jumping back into the Prius for work my left foot immediately went looking for the clutch. Need to reprogram my left foot, I have been practicing more left foot braking in the mean time.

So I done lowering the car back to its original height, but its still sitting on jack stands. I am rerouting the wire harness in the driver side wheel well. I will be replacing the plastic battery box with an aluminum one. I just reinstalled the manuel boost hose to the turbo. The car has less than 400miles on the road. Will be going thru and checking all the fluids and will likely be flushing out the current stuff and replacing it with my stuff.

I have an appointment with Jeff Foress the Alignment guy next Wednesday to have the car aligned and corner balanced. So basically the car will be ready for DCTC next weekend very soon. Once I have completed my short list I'll start cranking the boost and we'll see how she dances.

I like! I too like a purpose built car, maybe one day I'll get one of my own :) Maybe an e36 purpose built for track days...ok, wrong forum. I can't wait to see this thing out at the track. I don't think I'll be down at DCTC, but I will certainly try to make the next event. It has been a long time to wait for you...enjoy! And I'll see you out at the track soon.

The Redhead received an alignment by the famous Alignment Guy, along with corner balancing. I'll post up the pictures later. She weighted in at 2800lbs. all muscle except on the front and the rear.

Yesterday Nuked Performance Tuning stopped by and assisted with tuning the duel boost controller. I believe we went from 13.5wg to 17psi. The power came on alot sooner around 4k and slowly dropped at redline 7500. We agreed to set it at a conservitive boost since we didn't have a wideband, although I was told the EM will self correct and the engine is capable of holding 26psi max. Well not today, but we did have quite the experience when it spiked onced at 19psi where the frontend of the car just lifted almost off the ground or left like it did. LOL It reminded me of my experience riding shotgun in the American Muscle cars years ago.

So we have a few more things to button up and she'll be ready for some much needed R&D this weekend. We'll be doing lots of R&D, I have never driven a RWD like this at the levels I intend to drive it at so I'm looking forward to it and will need lots of preparation.

1fastbadger-I'm right behind ya or better yet, I'll be trying to chase you down in that new Black M3 very soon. Looking forward to doing some track event with ya.
