So I did a search on msn auto and found that the only difference is that the wrxLimited comes standard with Sunroof/leather seats.

I know they're all same HP/Tq. but is there a difference in suspension, brakes, aero dynamics, etc..?

(might trade mine for a 06/07 next year, wishing to find a white one)

The Limited is very nice with the heated leather seats, sunroof, and climate control. It also comes in "Limited only" pearl colors.

Off the top of my head so someone correct me if I'm wrong...

    TR:
    Unpainted side mirrors.
    2-piece seats
    single-din 1-disc stereo
    manual climate control
Optional map pocket in PS seat
    Optional rear cupholder

    WRX:
    color matched side mirrors
    1-piece seats
    double-din 6-disc stereo
    auto climate control

    WRX Limited:
    WRX stuff plus:
    heated leather seats
    heated mirror/windshield?
    Sunroof

    Difference bt 06 and 07:
-Biggest difference imo is 06 WRX sedans got the STI aluminum control arms
-06 has black front bumper vents, color matched for 07
-06 has grey head/talilight housings, chrome for 07
-07 got a pretty decent aux-input in place of the ashtray in the double-din equipped cars.

I don't think the 07 Limited has heated mirrors (but I could be wrong here), but I know the windshield is heated down by by the wipers.

The aux input works really well, my g/f players her iPod through there and it sounds fine.

I'm 95% sure they did come with heated side mirrors... maybe as an option, but I'm pretty sure they were standard. I remember talking to Pat (pksublime) at fairly great length about how convenient they are.

I'm pretty sure the heating is for both the wipers and mirrors...at least on my 07 WRX Ltd. wagon. The mirror heater is worthless IMO but the wiper heater keeps ice build up in check.

Nobody mentioned that the TR is the lightest of the 3 trim levels? If you are going to mod it, and don't mind losing some of the comforts of the other 2 trim levels I would go with the TR.

According to MSN AUTOS curb weight 06 yrs, all MT:

    2.5i - 3016
    WRX - 3192
    WRX TR - 3192
    WRX Limited - 3239
    WRX Sti - 3351

Dont know why the TR and base model are the same weight. Same with 07.

Probably never weighed the TR. TR can't be the same weight... probably only 50-100 lighter, but every little bit counts.

FWIW, my wingless 06 TR with half tank gas and me in it (195lbs) weighed 3050lbs...

I had headerback exhaust, coilovers, no heat shields, no spare/jack/trunk carpet, and lighter wheels/tires as the only weight reduction... added weight with the intercooler, turbo, bracing, wiring, amp/speakers, and sway bars.
