The first two events were incredible! Conditions were great, the weather was good...now it's time to get slideways again!!!:biggrin:

THIS IS THE LAST EVENT AT CANNON FALLS UNTIL OCTOBER SO DON'T MISS OUT ON OUR BIGGEST AND BEST VENUE!!!!!!

Competitor registration- All competitors are urged to register and pre-pay no later than 5PM on Friday, May 13th.

If you need to register after 5PM you must do so in-person at the event. There will be a $10.00 fee to pay at the event. (This is above your competitor entrance fee)

Fees:
SCCA Members: $40.00
Non-SCCA Members*:$55.00
Registration and/or Paying at the event, add $10.00

* Non-members are required to purchase an SCCA Weekend Membership for $15.00
(The weekend membership can be used as a $15 discount on a full SCCA membership).

All competitors and spectators must sign the official SCCA Waiver of Liability.

All minors present must have a minor waiver filled out. Form can be downloaded, printed in color and filled here: http://www.scca-lol.org/rally/rallyx/rxinfo.php

All competitors MUST work the course as a condition of event entry.

All competitors must have an FRS Radio, radios cannot be shared between competitors.

All competitors must have a Snell/M 1995 or newer helmet. Loaner helmets are available but the quantity is limited.

Passengers will be allowed if waivered and wearing an approved helmet.

For the donation lunch:
We will be serving some lemon rosemary brined chicken breasts and cheese burgers, along with chips, drinks, and possibly a side. We'd like to suggest donating at least $5 to eat and support all the little critters at the Humane Society. Big, big thanks to Scotty (StanmoXT) for hooking us up with some delicious food and even coming to check out the rallyx action while running the grills!

 

I've never been to one. So this will be my first. sounds like fun.

I'm thinking of doing this. Anyone know a good spot to pick up a helmet and radio?

 

Bob's cycle supply has cheap motor cycle helmets that are snell rated for under $100, the hjc brand. Radios can be picked up in a lot of places, menards, home depot, radio shack, Target, best buy, Walmart

Just confirmed!! Maaco (on Lake St. in Minneapolis) will be donating something very generous to the top finishers!

Less then a week away! Sign up now to avoid the late fee! Think of what you could use that extra $10 on. Perhaps a really late Mother's day gift. Or maybe a car wash to clean all the mud off after the event. Or hit up Rainbow and get some 10 for 10 deals.

Signed-up! Another friendly reminder that you'll want to save yourself $10 and sign-up before Friday night. Totally understandable though if you're waiting to get paid that day. I've been there.

Old man Dave has just offered up a nice prize! Don't worry, it won't be a Depends diaper from co-driving with Carl, although with some zip-ties and some ingenuity, it could be made into one...:biggrin:. You'll see what I mean on Sunday.

I was putting on the snow tires and one of the lug nuts got stuck and I sheared off a wheel stud. Does anyone have an extra one I could come pick up tonight?

 

Might stop out and spectate a couple runs. Dang I miss flinging my own mud.
