FRS radio, clear everything from the car and trunk (including floor mats), make sure you have a secure battery tie down, bring qualifying helmet

 

run your tires at 20 psi

 

so does any 2 way radio count? i have some cheap motorolla 2 way's

 

any FRS radio. we'll typically be on channel 8, code 0

and don't really run your tires at 20psi. i ran my winters at 40psi

 

I may need some people to help burn cold hotdogs.....anyone?

 

This sounds interesting.. to watch. My car is so new it's still under factory warranty. I'll have to wait and see what's happening for me that day.

If I do make it, I could help flame some dogs. Is their any entry fee for non-competitors?

Well, looks like I'll probably be there with my stunt double.

 

My GF and i are gonna try to make it down and spectate, we have never really been to a rally meeting of any sort

So its free for spectators.....do i have to sign the waiver at the event or is that something that needs to be taken care of in advance? Also, I know im the new guy, but are people meeting up and driving down in a subaru group? If so where are people meeting and what time.

 

it is free and you must sign a waiver when you arrive.

we typically caravan down. however, if you aren't racing the caravan leaves rather early (cars won't really hit the track until 11 or so and we leave to try and get down by 9). and when I say we, I mean everyone else since I'll be stage rallying saturday and am not coming to this event lol

I'm interested in going, and I'll drive down alone if I have too but it's more fun in a group.

Great event today! A bit dusty, but otherwise nice weather. I had a blast, my brother had fun. Thanks to everyone who put the event together.

Dave i just want to say I think you made great use of the space able to get good speed and still had a long run. Well done on the coarse! I had a ton of fun!

Huge props to everyone that helped me make this a super fun time. I was very happy to see so many cars entered and tons of new people. The rally cross bug is spreading!!!

Also, I'm glad everyone had fun with the course as it was definitely was challenging, especially with the dust!

Special thanks to the Mark & Mary Utecht, the Carlson family, Erik Dahl, Kevin & Amanda, and everyone else that guided me through my first time as Event Master! I had soooo much fun!!!!

 

You did a great job. Hope that your first time as event master isn't your last! It is great to see new faces taking on leadership and organizational roles within our program.

Thanks! Anytime I can be the Event Master I will, it was great fun...and I learned a lot.

However, next time I won't be an idiot and place myself at Start Control all day without sunscreen....Ouch! I'm now paying for that mistake:laugh:

thnaks everyone it was a great day!I had tons of fun! I was very Dissapointed in my times,I was all over the place..but I succeded in scaring my mother so that made up for the bad times. thanks to all who helped me change my wheels.

 

I have a pic of you at the last corner, your mom in the front seat hanging onto the "oh ****" handle for dear life, and you with a huge grin on your face. I LOL'd.
