(the cable isn't attached to anything on the other end, so it isn't sitting quite how it will. and has to come back out. but you get the idea)

So your finally catching upto everybody else and getting a hand brake that works on the rear wheels eh?

(Remembers first attempt at a handbrake turn in my old Loyale and the mess I made of that intersection)

lol! it's not actually for handbrake turns. it's for a parking brake. since I'm using EJ front stuff, there's no hand brake mechanism....so it must go to the rear.

continued working on the fluid replacement in the struts....
the hole is very shallow, so in order to cut threads, I had to cut the tip off of the tap:

but managed to get some nice threads cut anyway:

they don't quite seal, so I'm probably going to have to use some teflon tape or something.....but got fluid in 2 of them, and started on a 3rd....

So how do you pressurize that fluid, or don't you. I'm a little confused.

you don't.....it doesn't really need to be pressurized. that just means that they struts won't return to the fully extended position by themselves. but once you mount some springs to them, it won't matter.

ok, gotcha. What kinda fluid are you putting it. I can only assume the viscosity of the fluid plays a vital roll in stiffness.

you should put some sort of bleeder valve in there like from a brake caliper so you can pump the fluid in, so it can be pressurized.

^ that last pic is hawt.

It looks like the front wheels sit farther forward. (like the rear wheels on the blue wagon). eitherway it looks awesome. This thing is so awesome now. 17" goldies, uber stiff springs, and Borla headers.

becareful not to curb those wheels now.
