Squeaky whiny wheel

    I noticed when my window is open and I'm moving there is a noise from the left rear wheel on my STI. It's a constant whiny, squeaky noise. What could this be?

    Speed dependent? Any other attributes that have any kind of affect on the noise?

    It's just always happening whenever the car is in motion.

    I want to say wheel bearing. Does it get louder or faster with movement of the car?

    Wheel Bearning don't really make that kind of noise.....I'd look at the brakes (rotors/pads) first
