So, I installed the whiteline RCA kit (tie rod ends/ball joints), replaced front drive side wheel bearings, and inner tie rod and boot on the front pass side. I went to the store to get gas, and I noticed while standing still and turning either direction I would get vibration in the steering wheel/rack. I realize that I need to get an alignment, but is there something I missed here? Everything is torqued to spec an greased up where necessary... 99% sure of it. Or is it that I just need an alignment?

    Thanks,
    - Justin K.

Loose belt or low on fluid?

Yes, at 0 mph; backing in an out; turning from lock to lock; very slow turns.

It doesn't feel like that, and I think the belts and fluids are fine.

I mean, I just changed out the one entire tie rod, and the other tie rod end, plus the ball joints... so, of course the first thing I think of is the tie rods. I checked them again to make sure they were snug and such, and all seems right. :-/ I don't know. So annoying.

Could air have got into the system somehow from all the back and forth when changing the tie rod?

Mine is doing the exact same thing. Did you ever figure out a solution?

Check your power steering lines for leaks, especially at the fittings. The shudder will happen if you are low on PS fluid or you have air in the system somewhere.

I just replaced the PS fluid and nothing is leaking that is apparent. I'm going to do trans and diff fluids as soon as I find some time but I was hoping the OP found the exact problem.
