    yes i am.
    if he wanted to spend his money wisely he would have gotten a dp and not bothered with the cat-back at all. he might as well buy and intake and bov while he's at it. i have spendt $75 on mods on my car and it will destroy you.

    This is the first day I've ever been to this website. I checked it out only to find a raging thread including my car and I so I decided to join. Your car will destroy me? Or do you mean beat me in a race. If you drive an Sti then I believe you. Why do you insist on repeating yourself over and over. How is the 550 dollar payment treating you? Sorry my buddy isn't a big enough dork to parouse online forums to take advice from people like you on what to buy for their car. Did I mention that my stock 170 HP car for 20 K kept up with an STI? If you were in my shoes you would be just as happy/excited. Take it easy there guy.

    I thought that your car was modded? According to the original post it's nowhere near stock. Wasn't that the whole point of this? Because there is no way a stock MSP would be keeping up with an STI, that'd be the same thing as a 2.5i (which actually has 173hp) keeping up with an STI. It isn't happening. And it's rather irrelevant as to what their car payment is, that's just like whining that your car is better because you paid less. If they can afford the payment then that's their business, if you can't afford an STI then that's your business. At least keep this on track...

    On a different note, I wonder what would happen if people calculated their dollar to horsepower ratios. That would actually be a pretty interesting number to look at.

    yeah i jumped in this becuase of this and title of the thread " STi get's smoked by a Mazda Speed Protege! ;)". sry i'm not jsut gonna sit here and am I gonna drop the bs flag when i see fit.

    i respect msp's for what they are, i considered one before i bought my wrx (now i have a sti) but a lightly modded msp against lightly sti isn't gonna be a race if the sti is trying or in the right gear. it may not even be close against a stock one. also comparing times at a track compared to the street isn't very good becuase a fwd is going to do better on a track relative to on the street becuase of traction issues, which is pretty much insignificant regardless of location to lightly modded sti's.

    stick to facts and not exagerate and i won't go off.

    And to further add fuel to the fire. I'm going to go ahead and call all of you a bunch of benchracing street racer dorks. You wanna prove your point, take it to the track or go race on the street somewhere, quit playing the numbers game. A porsche 914 with 170whp would kill both your cars, that's bench racing. My number (penix) is bigger than your number (penix)....get bent. You should rename this thread "Official MNSubaru Tool Bag."

    For some reason, I get alot of "Last Word Notches" on my belt because my last post in a thread tends to get it locked. So no, I'm not trying to get the last word here, I've had enough of them in my day.
