Well. She has ~$1000 before she's totally broke. I know beaters are going for more than that in this market. It needs to make it 6 months to a year so she can pool her money to get a slightly better beater. Thanks, Todd.
I can't let mine go that cheap, unfortunately, I've got a few hundred in new parts waiting to be slapped in and I'd be taking a hit. If she could scrounge up $1500, I'd let it go to her to help out but it sounds like that would be out of her range. FWIW, its a 1996 Outback Sport, has some rust as almost all of them do, but has shared beater duties with my TL. *for anyone else seeing this post, no, you cannot also buy it for $1500.*
