Subaru world record meet...kinda official thread

Working on the 2 way radios. I'm down for a meetup and snap some pics, that would be cool. Will where do you stay at? Because from my place it's a straight shot to 94 from 494.

Gotta meet up with the Rochester peoples too that day somewhere on 94. And I'm gonna call up the hotels tomorrow. We might have to end up staying in Glendale heights(not too far) because I think I can get a hotel at a discount for school, if the hotels are booked.

I'm gonna get on nabisco tonight and see if we can get a meet going Friday night or something

Well if she says no I'm still going. I'm just trying to talk her into going with. That's all. So Eric, I take your not going to be staying with me at my cuzin's? And when are you planning on leaven? Time wise. I got all day friday off and I can just meet you on 94 by menomonie and head out from there.

 

Also, was there anyone eles that wanted me to look into getting them into HIN? I'm going to call him tomorrow afternoon so I need a head count before I call. So far I'll I got is dirtywagon +1.

 

Soooo...now I just need to figure out who's going what time and when to meet up where. I saw on nasioc that a bunch of people are meeting up at the streets of woodfield at 7:30am(I know i was like wtfearly)

 

See about this guy+ 2. We were thinking about heading back saturday night, and hitting Cedar Falls Raceway on the way back to do some drag racing, but I think HIN will be a better option as it looks like it is going to rain in IA saturday.

I booked a room 20 minutes from the meet, its the only place I could find that would comfortably fit me and my 2 buddies. Its a suite :yumyum:nice! I got a discount on it as well :biggrin:

Sleeps 6, and we currently have 3 people staying in the room. If anyone is in a pinch im sure we could lend a floor to someone or something. haha

EDIT: The hotel is 14 minutes by mapquest to the Streets of Woodfield. Looks like I'll be getting up early!

 

I'm starting to second guess about staying with my cuzin. He lives in heartland and I haven't check it out to see how far of a drive it's going to be. My guess is an hour to a hour and a half to the meeting spot. And if you registerd they said you need to be there at 8am. I dont want to have to get up at 5am just to get there. With that said I may just check it to getting a room if there not to stupidly over priced for friday night and then drive back to his place and stay saturday. IDKY:ugh:

 

Rooms arent bad. I found them for less than 100 bucks a night, without a discount.

Im can get to 94 in about 5min or less from where i live. I was thinking of a place to meet out in woodbury? just off 94. like the walmart out there???

Yeah we can meet up in Woodbury if ya want. But! I got the frs radios and the hotel booked. It's 120 a night for both nights. If 40 bucks a night is a bit too much I can try to get booked somewhere else. And that's for 3 people. Not sure if were gonna get anyone else staying with us. Lemme know so I can cancel the reservations if you want to try to get somethig a little cheaper.

We're staying 15 minutes from the streets of woodfield in a suite that sleeps 6. If anyone needs a place to sleep, im sure we'll have room.

Well guys I got some bad news... My buddy couldn't get every one in cuz it's vip so I just told him that if he couldn't get us all in not to worry about it cuz I didn't want to leave any one out. Sorry if I left any one hang n guys!

We dont know when we are leaving. My buddies might be leaving earlier than expected. They want to get to chicago early so we can get some good eats before we hit the hotel. I'll talk to them and see what they say.

I just got me some rally pigs. Blue and pink. Which color should I put on the mirror!? Im only doing one, but i got them both incase one doesnt turn out, or look right. haha

Ah somehow I missed this post. I will be heading down to Chicago first thing int he morning. Gonna be crashing at a buddy's house and going to HIN tomorrow. Hope to see some people from MN out there!

 

Stuck in traffic during the parade. Some A-hole went off route and a bunch of people followed, have to wait for them to get back. Lol. Shoulda known. How hard is it to follow a parade!?
