the only thing I think that would of been nice if if the club would not have split into 2 groups. I know it is tough to keep the pack together, but if after we went through the second light in cannon falls we just pulled over for a few min till everyone cought up and then continued, that would be great. Plus that would get those video a chance to get to the next spot.
Bill, the organization of the actual trip is going to be one of my #1 priorities! More radios, assigned "group" lead cars...I'm going to do my best to make it better! Last year was frustrating to say the least, but we were incident free, aside from Brians tranny/oil pan situation.
whats the approx. total distance traveled? fuel stops or is it fill early before the trek only or you are SOL
Fill before we leave...most can at least make it there on a full tank! Lol...the distance is like 175 miles or something.
on the highway I can get 350 to a tank. It took 3/4 tank to the ice races with lots of stops and going through bemidji and only a 1/2 tank for the rip home.
I'm in for this again. I'm really digging the softball or kickball idea's. Something like that could get people to stay around longer after all the food is ate. :yumyum:
375?!?! whats steroids is your car takin?!? im sitting at about 300-315 MAX and thats pushing the tank to its limits!
I am in fo sho! I dont know if the Rochester group would meet @ firestone or just do like last year and try to merge (minus the bad timing). Either way I'll be there! Also I vote BBQ, kickball, Sipa, and Thrashing a parking lot as suggested activities.
I would defiantly go again! I vote for softball or kickball or dodgeball before we eat! Depending on interest, maybe we will need a few games going at once... As Bill mentioned, since it would be a longer trip for us, we would probably plan on staying there overnight-maybe we could gauge interest as to who would want to stay and look into potential sleeping places and nightlife in the area.
OK! i don't think i will have a subi by then but who wants a passenger! i will bring treats....i can get pastry's for everyone..i can get boxes of doughnuts and danish etc..and my driver will get some gas money and maybe a little something extra . oh and kickball ftmfw!
 i heard they like borwnize..maybe if you make them some they will actually come.. in more ways than one..ok please don't ban me. :emo: so any word on a date yet? or did i miss in it the 6 pages.
yah last year was a good time so i'd be interested depending on the date. as for other things to do... softball, kickball, volleyball, pointy lawn darts? oh and arent there some frisbee golfers in the group? i'm not one, so i don't know if it would work, but maybe something like frisbee golf in that big grassy area?
I'm sure that if anyone wanted to disc golf, Brent(AWD_PWNZ) could show them the local course(s). It sounds like many are interested in the kickball! I think it would work well for the fact that some of the kids that attend can play also.
We could also do testies on the fence (polish horse shoes) Beer pole or bags... all easy to bring with, the only bummer is it only involves 2-4 people per game.
omg it wasnt long at all, you are high off your ass if you thought it was long, TRY to tell me YOU have a long drive, just try
Yes, many from Duluth joined in last year, and Bill/Beth and Rich/Karen would be coming from the boondocks!:eek3:
that is why we would make a weekend out of it. you should start a thread on who would like to make a weekend of it, and then see if we can get a club rate at a local hump and stay (motel)
