By the way for anyone who wants to co drive or wants to hitch a ride with someone out in the western suburbs thats where I am at. I also got a video camera...should I bring it to get some footage to try and put a video together of us cruising around. By the way I should prolly mention that I am still a senior in high school if that effects anyones decisions on whether or not they wanna ride with me. I am saying that if I dont get a co driver I will prolly not show cause driving around for 3 hours on your own is not fun

Running sweep? As in running caboose or several minutes later? I can do that if you need someone to.

When was this? I left right after we got back to the highway, everyone else was over at McD's getting something to eat. Must have been on 94 on the way back? I didn't see a single trooper the whole way back.

It was just outside of Minnesota. All the silver cars got pulled. I was way behind so I have no idea how it happened. Hopefully those guys will be back soon to fill us in.

    LOL

all of us got 77 in a 65 Holly cow 181.00 dollars.

This was just bunk! As the trooper was pulling to the mediain we all went by. I saw her reach for the dash to try and clock us but the radar and laser detector never even went off. I asked her to show me the clock she said she didnt lock me and walked away.

Oh well off to court again!

Fuji funny we passed the girl who was driving your car. Then she passed us back.

And after doing such a good job sweeping the highway on the way back to MN too. I had the cruise set to 85 and still didn't pull anything.

BTW when catching up to y'all on the way into Red Wing (after getting behind a bluehair going 40 in a 55) I found out that my car tops out at 140 at 6500rpm (~25 seconds between mile markers). And now back to your regularly scheduled post-whoring...

An early 360 off a left 90 gave me some things to think about after almost making a trip down south off a WI cliff. Luckly my years of experience paided off, counter steered and ended up on the safe side of the bank. After there that it was 6/10th's. Hey guys wait up! :D

Second half was much better, the pavement got warmer, the tires started to respond better, as I was the second car from the Gray one. At this point I felt more confortable pushing the car. So inescents raised the bar to 8/10th's; trying to have some fun, yet making sure we I make home with the car in one piece. I never lost sight of OB1 at this point and made it to the next check point where we finished our Fall Tour.

From there it was time to grab some chow and head home. Everyone agreed to go to MacDonald's. We talked about all the happen'n of the day and lord behold two beautiful TWIN Chick's appear. So we start talking about escorting these babe's back to the cities. Of course before we even got inside MacDonald's OB1 and Chris start talking that this the part where the boyz get separated from the MEN. hehehe

Erik and I both chose early that we're not interested in getting another ticket, especially one from WI. So I shared with the group about the last ticket I got in WI, and how lucky I was to get a Warning ticket.

We left Macdonald's and proceeded into the highway, I jumped on the right lane and took the lead into the freeway, hoping to get some distance from myself and the crazyones. But got stuck behind some slow freak'n cars. Within minutes they come right by me and I decided to hang for awhile and soon after I decided to part ways.

10min's after passing Menomenie I phoned OB1 to see if they already made it to MN. Everything sounded fine. Til Erik and I to Hudson. We come up the hill and saw some flashing lights, and than saw the Silver line of cars. I looked and counted three cars and than down the road about 500yrs I see the Gray one with his chin straight up, kinda looks like he was going for a cd off the visor.

Erik and I must of been averaging 77mph. By the time we got to downtown St. Paul we were met with some heavy traffic and ice shows. I certainly had a lot of fun. Hope to do this again next season.

    Thanks Sheep Herder! ;)

I guess it's slow. I was more amazed that I could actually attain my limiting speed.

One thing I did note that I'd never really had a chance to try out (that the previous owner who lived in the Rockies had told me about) was that going up hills, especially at lower speeds and around corners and such my car really pulls.

Next time can we skip the gravel road of doom? I like the gravel and all but that grade was f'ing scary in a car without a cage and harnesses. Or at least take it uphill next time [xx(]

300z was with us from the start of the Fall Tour, I didn't catch is name, but he was a very nice guy as were the rest of the group, with the exception of the new navigator and the Gray Goat Herder. ;)

The 300z guy had spunout while trying to slow down since I had spunout in front of him. I came thru the turn at low speed with minumal steering cause it wasn't that difficult of a turn, but to my surprise I ended up spining out. I thought that was it for my car. But I lived another day to tell another story.

I was very funny at the beinging of our tour Mike, Chris and I was tell OB1 to make a bathroom break, and he tells us to tie it into a knot. :(! When we finally get to our first check point which happened to be a gas station we all rushed inside and Mike says he was hurt'n and had to resort to a bottle while driving the car, though OB1 told him to pull over and try and catch up. :D

Chris and someothers were thinking about doing some pumkin picking since we had taken a afternoon break right by a pumkin patch. But after further discussion decided it may not be in their best interest since it will be rolling around in the car. I suggested putting the pumkin in a seat and buckling it up, just like how I do with my lunch bag when going to work. :D

As for the WI 5.0 situation I have seen them do this before last month while coming back WI Dells. A small SUV was going around 85mph for a good 20min, I stayed back. Soon after I see a Trooper come out of the woods, he kept it slow at first than all the sudden he shoot off and I later see the SUV pulled over to the side. From what I can figure, its either they us a plane or have unmarked cars on the freeway to call speeders in. Cause from what OB1 has stated they did not clock him. I was afraid these guyz were going to WI jail for the Cannon Ball Run!
