    how is the surface? I heard it was a packed down grass somewhere, is that right? How hard is the dirt? Is there any gravel?

    imho, Enough! I've been to track days where I got several hours of seat time and autoxs where I got a combined 4 minutes of seat time over the span of an 8 hour day. I've yet to go to drive at a rallyx where I wasn't exhausted or satisfied with the amount of driving at the end of the day. Slightly dissatisfied with the outcome of my poor driving, yes. But dissatisfied with the experience or the amount of fun I had, no.

    That said it's usually 6ish runs.

    i would not attempt it, lol, you will be spinning tires and be quite uncontrollable all day! it honestly should not tear the winters apart, but thats just my opinion.

    MNSOC will be serving lunch to raise funds for a very special little girl!

    Her name is Kira Roberts. She's 11 years old and was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She had a tumor removed from her neck a few months back and is now just starting to go back to school. So she is on the fast track to recovery!

    We need to pool together not only as a club, but as a community to help ease the stress of the piling medical bills. So please remember to give, and give generously.

    They also have a fund set up through USBank if anyone wanted to make a donation that way. It can be made at any USBank location under the name of Kira Roberts.

    As an added bonus, Kira and her family will be at this event!

    Just look for the MNSOC sign around lunch time. Our fearless event master, Tim the Plumber, will be sure to point you all in the right direction.

    Food will be: :yumyum:
    • Brats
    • Hot dogs
    • Chips
    • Soda/water
    • Potato Salad (NO choice of potato fyi :laugh:)

    I will NOT want to take IOU's. So please remember that. :biggrin:

    you can do everything at location including payment. However, we'd really like to have everyone at least register online..it speeds up the process in the AM. If you have an SCCA membership please bring the card with you.

    I will be there, however I will not be driving. Need to spend my $55 on other things at the moment. I will be shooting photos and I will be bringing my own spotter (who is new to the rallyx stuff). should be a good time, I am looking forward to it already.
