This si true. I was looking through the pictures I wook at the rallyx and you can see this. I have a series, showing that the wheels are straight when the car goes up and then a slight amount of steering input to bring it back down. pretty cool. I will try and make a GIF.

True story about the skid plate, the thing is beefy. My skid plate has seen more stage miles than my Legacy likely ever will. I'm pretty sure its worth more than the car

We could hook a chainlink drag to the Jeep as well. That would get it done quicker between run groups.

 

a chain link drag between run groups i think would be good preventative maintenance to keep the ruts in check so we dont need to get the bobcat out.

 

Thanks, I think that will work out better. Yea, we'll most likely need to run the bobcat between each run set as well as moving the course to keep ahead of it.

I think I'll need help with getting everything down there next time as the GTI will need to be trailered before the next event. I don't have access to anything that can hold them both LOL!

i didnt rally in it but was there...and i thought it seemed like pretty good place to hold a rally with lots of room for different track designs and what not

 

Thank you to everybody involved in running this event! It was my first RallyX and I will definitely be back. I was really regretting selling my WRX, even though the Outback was still fun to toss around out there. When are the results usually posted?

to bad they dont have the cone penalties shown im wondering how much those darn orange things cost me in my last run.

 

1 cone (2 secs) on the run that counted, 6 cones (12 seconds) on the one that didn't.
