Mike when is all this expected to be completed again? Bring her by sometime and we'll show her around a bit at the track. LOL Side note: I would suggest a short shifter if you haven't already when you start making some serious power, this will help you get the shifting done and avoid mis-shifts and lose gears. Good luck! +325whp w/Turbo inlet, uppipe Big Maf and what you currently have. LOL Cup is half full!
February 9th this Monday (For install and Tune) I have a spt/subaru shot throw shift & momo shift knob. I don't really like it that much the Momo know is a little bigger then I like, I would also like it if the shifter was a little lower still. Any recomendations?
Sweet! I'll find out what this is all about....... "**Note: If you have the factory installed short throw option, please call in to place your order 801-713-0035." How hard to install?
I have an IS300 shift knob. Its from the automatic transmission. Small, and it is shorter than the momo and stock ones. Threads on perfectly.
You should get ~300whp. However, your turbo wouldn't get full spool until 4k RMP. I have 18G tdo6 with 7cm (2.5l) and I get full spool at 3.5K RMP. You have a bigger turbo, might be hard for daily driving. On the other hand you will like how it's pulling on the Hwy  Good luck with install and tune, expect lower numbers so you would not be disappointed when you see your dyno chart
ronnie will find you around 350lbs ft tq, and 303 awhp, thats my best guess... PS: I wouldn't worry about spool, I think you'll be very happy.
what does it look like? how much $ As for Spool Dipp got full spool at 3700rpms so it should ripe quite well. I'll have to get use the how much faster I'll get to redline and smoother/Faster shifts.
Hood scoop air director What is the best "Air director thing" for the New Larger Perrin Intercooler. Between the hood scoop and Intercooler? The old wrx intercooler is a baby compared to the new one, So for now I took the old air director off.
Yes, that's the splitter. The aftermarket ones aren't usually much deeper, so you should be fine with the stock one.
I made my own from peice of aluminum. Worked pretty well and easy to do. http://www.mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23667
It looks good and not too hard. It does what it needs to do, I'll give it a try. My car is @ R S Motors today I'll pick it up tomorrow and see if there is any difference from stock?
I don't know yet I'm going to call Lee in a little bit, But early he said it might not be done until tomorrow. I'd like it done right.... so if it takes an extra day it O.K.
Do it ^ or my car will be faster then yours this summer, will have to meet up and go down to firestone.
And let me be there to take photos when you both blow your transmissions at the starting line!:eek4:....
Its kind of a moot point looking at a turbo that will turn your transmission in a pile of gear pieces. I would recommend a stronger transmission for a 20G on a WRX 5 speed. It has been proven many times to not be able to take the TQ of a 20G unless you are a very careful driver.
All the install got done except for the pump. That will be done in the morning and on to tuning. I'm missing some misc hose connectors for the inlet pipe but I can source those out in the morning. Funny the whole time I was working on it, I was thinking of Putz's car. How I can't recall how I did the injectors so quick at his garage.
OHhhhh, come on, everyone needs an excuce to get their first set of ppg's. I figure if he and I blow ours at the same time we could get a group discount?:hsugh:
