    My schedule this summer is pretty crazy, I'm still trying to figure out if I will be able to make this one.

    Is there any interest in games for the raffle? I have more time this year to plan a ahead and get better stuff.

    The change in weekend was out of our control. The 6th got book before we could get it.

    As it sits right now, unless more people plan on going, then whole event will have to be canceled.

    This is now going to be an offical event. Not MNSOC offical but still going to be an event.

    I've made reservations for June 6th at the Pettibone Campground. We can take the same trip down to the Lax area just like the cruise. Only were not going to the normal stopping grounds. We'd go straight to the camping sites. ALSO They have a covered table area for grilling and eating. I reserved that site also. I have ten tent sites resevered that can hold 3 tents each, easily.

    SO who wants to go camping and drinking?

    *The LaXCruise has been canceled for the date of Sunday, June 21st. If you had signed up for this event and or taken off of work for it, I truly am sorry for the inconvenience*

    I would like to take a moment and apologize to everyone for the mix ups, date changes, and general confusion that has consumed our events already this year. Please forgive me, i am still newb!?

    Bielke and I are collaborating together to bring you the 2009 LaXCruise at Pettibone Park in LaCrosse, WI. on Saturday June 6th!! It will in fact be the same as previous years, just without Copeland Pavilion! Please keep an eye out for more updates!

    Thanks Ted! The threads have been merged and the events are set. Cruising, gaming, camping, fishing, eating!!!...come and join the fun for a day or fun for the weekend!:)

    Brian and I will be working together to make this a great event for everyone! Keep posted for updates!

    I'm really sorry man! It's been crazy this year trying to get things all in order. I wish that I could have a big event that everyone could make! I'll be making sure that none of the events are scheduled on holidays for the remainder of my term as "Social Director" for the club.

    I feel this is a very confusing thread. Do those who paid for the the LaX trip going camping and is that deposit going to Brian to rent out the camp sites? Is there still time to rent out that many camp sites for the weekend of the 6th? No offense to anyone involved in either of these events but can we make sure that something like this happens. I am totally with Nathan in saying that this was by far the most fun I had all summer last year as a group with MNSubaru.

    This is confusing only cause this is the first ever camping trip... Mixed with the old LAX Cruise. It will end up cost a little more the $19 only cause were paying for the catering service also. I think we came up with the number of $30 for members and $35 for non members (MNSOC)

    ^$19 for camping and $10 for food=$29 for a two day event/member.

    ..$19 for camping and $15 for food=$34 for a two day event/non-member.:)

    what about those who do not wish to camp? i.e. want to return home, hit the bars, get a hotel.... stuff like that?

    If I correctly followed the thread's multiple date changes (ufda...) then I take it it's on June 6th & 7th?

    Would love to go but can't, I've got to work that weekend. Gots to pay the bills...

    What if we want to grill our own food and not use the catering service...


    dose anyone else have this same idea?

    Is the catering set in stone?

    most campsite have grills built right in....
