The Official 2009 LaX Camping Trip Thread

I'll probably be there, will see if my bro wants to go too. We probably won't take the trip down from the Cities but rather head from Rochester over and meet. I'll need to remind him of this and see what he wants to do. This isn't a for certain go though. Sometimes friends and family make up plans for me that I'm not aware about until the last minute, so we'll see. I personally have no plans this weekend. :laugh:

I think either of those will work just fine. I am sure walmart and target have similar options that may be cheaper.... but that should help ya along.

 

Does anyone want me to try and get a bags game? Maybe a bags tourney?

 

i think tony said hes bringing bags, if we have enough people that are gonna wanna play or do a tourny having a second set of boards may help

what is this game of bags?

 

You throw bean bags and small wooden box with a hole on it. 1 point if you land the bag on, 3 points if you put it in the whole. Played just like ladder ball for scoring.

Just picked up my 2 2 way radios. Motorolas SX600R's next is food at walmart on Saturday.... cant wait....

I would! I took work off for this event!!! (In my profession that is not an easy task).

if its on then im still going, if its cancled.. weather does look kinda shaky then I'm sure i can find something to do

 

They say a high of 55 and rain all day on saturday...

We can can move to a later date and have a full weekend of camping

Bill i have 5 confirmed camp sites taken... I have to pay $95 bucks for those sites. If everyone wants to double there site fee to cover it i will go. Otherwise i wanna push this back until July 11-13

its your call. sounds like everyone would understand. We could not make july 11-13th.

 

Is there a weekend you can make? I havent set it in stone yet. If we cancel with out later date set I get charged $185. I can move the date to whatever.

I say you make those that backed out last minute for whatever reason pay for the sites you saved for them....
