Too bad you are not in the cities. I would love to try and bolt them onto the FXT and see if they would fit. My 18x8 et48 have TONS of room, so I am thinking that something this size might just fit under it.

I'd think they would be awesome on a FTX, I was going to get some 18x9's but i figured what the hell might as well get the 18x10's and try being like ken block on his gymkhana car. I'll post more pics once i get them installed.

I just like good handling? I mean, scrub radius can really kill the feel of a sports car. It also seems relatively recent that people are doing this.

30 is a little excessive, but you are going to need a lower offset to tuck 9" of wheel under the car so you aren't on the suspension tubes.

Or you could do like me... 17x7 +35 with 215/45/17 AS tires to clear brembos. I'm moving to SoCal and starting the anti-flush and hella-narrow fad.

Hey, watch yourself. I'm only on 225s. :(

And my wheels are 17x7 +35 that clear brembos, too. lol

I tucked 8.5" +48 no problem. And yes they clear brembos. I think +48 would be enough for 9" wide to clear the strut for what it's worth. Though, if a +48 17x9" wheel that cleared brembos existed, I'd probably already own it.

i had 18x8.5's +30 on my 08 and they fit no problem withough any modification to the fenders.

now my 18x10's +35 are going to be a different story.....

The 08's fender clearance is entirely different than the 02-07 impreza.

I'm running 18x9.5 +38 with 285/30/18 kumho v710s with a slight rubbing after an alignment on an 08 sti.
If i rolled the rear fenders it would fit fine with no problems.

Nice!! I personally like he green look with that lip the way it is... Maybe add a few small green accents to a couple trim pieces like a painted green STi logo on the back and a green "i" badge on the front!

Sometimes it's cool to be original or different...
