Like everyone else I am highly interested at this point.

 

I need to have my final tune on the pump MAP. Hesitation at the lower revs after the ECU learns. 1700-2300rpms. I thinks it needs a road tune.

I'm gonna have to pass now. I'm taking two summer classes so my income will not be what I thought it would. That and it would be a shame to spend the dough and only use it for three months.

Jag is always good word but I'm gonna need some tunning here soon....my car is a day or so away from being drivable(re-charge battery, add oil, add coolant and drive). I'm probably gonna visit Ron at RS to get me something for just getting around but I'll need someone to tune for the 110!

Does Jorge tune open ecu yet? Will this ever happen?!

 

Last I heard (from a national forum) he didn't feel the software was mature enough yet. Bummer for him.

 

Also bummer for people who want a tune from him, but don't want to shell out $700 for an accessport.

I'm still sitting on the fence on what em to use (I have parts in the garage waiting till then).
On one hand, I want a Jorge tune once my car is done.

On the other hand, I want to be able to log my car some anyway, but don't have a laptop...so unless I find a used laptop (not too comfortable with that), I'm looking at paying 500 for a laptop, plus probably another 100 for the tactrix cable...so an opensource tune (unless someone just flashed me) would be maybee 100 cheaper than an AP...and would have the ability to log my car.
Then again, why spend the $ if I'm going to have to shell out $700 anyway for an AP to qualify for a Jorge tune?

Sorry to clog the thread with this worthless post, but I really wish Jorge would do opensource.

Mssr. Chordata Mammalia Artiodactyla Cirvidae Alces just got done with rohdt00n. Very pleased [takes long pull on thin black cigarette]. Pixors and gushing to follow in separate thread.

 

Stage 2 catless with a Cobb intake, after maf hose and a STi intercooler + a tune. Its now as fast as the 3 was, but has way more traction
Moving on to suspension stuff now and some other cosmetic goodies.

Nice. Did you get the air box to go along with the intake? Gimmic inlet or just a samco style hose from the SR to the inlet?

 

I spoke to Jorge this morning looks like we will try and do this on July 12th. Look for more details tonight after I get some free time.

OK, if we are going to get this Dyno day going we are going to need to move quickly. I am going to need deposits of 250.00 from each person no later than 6-15. the remainder of the payment will be due no later than 6-30. This will be first come first served, if we get enough people we have the option to add another day. The minumum number of cars for him to come will be 4.

Payment can be made in person to me at RS motors or can be paypaled to me.
