Just finished this course myself, and it was extremely helpful. I felt pretty confident with just my permit last summer, but I developed some very helpful habits from the course, and got my license to boot.:fiddy:

I was planning on getting a R6 Raven until I sat on one. My legs are kinda long and with my feet on the pegs my knees were up to the outside of the tank. Waaaaay too uncomfortable.


But on a side note. I went out riding today! I already have 80 miles on my bike (6 when I got it)!

he's currently handicapped. i dont think he minded, mid 40s made it interesting.

 

Yes, borked finger = no riding but I MIGHT rough it and take it for a spin today, bleeding fingers and all. The bike is so hot in person it gives me a chubby!

The bike needs a custom tune, any suggestions?

 

Does it have a pc111 currently. get the CD and play with the map yourself, its much fun. OR go to St-boni, they rule.

-PC USB III Power Commander
-GYTR Performance Air Filter
-T-Tunner Mid-pipe

Yeah but its predictable horsepower, "dead untill 11K" is what a magazine said. I dont recall what one however.

 

Exactly, the ninja is the exact same way. Not much till 10kish and it revs to 16.5 :eek3:

 

She's a revver. its an 07 or 06? 07?

 

The ninja is an 07 the R6 is an 08. R6 got all new motor in 08 with higher compression and "suppose" to have more mid range then the 06-07.

 

you should try taking it for a spin, i thought it was broken when i first got on it :ugh: :laugh: its a real odd feeling..

Cars and Cafe this Saturday, bikers should go!

 

I drove the Dream-cycle yesterday. Very nice. And yeah, the bronze is off a little bit. Looks green-ish. A flat black would be sweet on the rims.

 

I got that animal walks on sat. No rides.
