How about you take off that skirt your wearing, and keep it for yourself!!! LOL I know your just going to be looking for a bike right after you sell it, so save yourself the hassle, and keep it!
Got my Buell Blast up for sale. Looking to upgrade hopefully sometime this summer. Bill, it's a pretty solid starter bike and hasn't given me any major issues. http://mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?37736-2008-Buell-Blast-500cc&p=701964#post701964
80 more than me. I did fire mine up the other day though, hopefully the first miles this year will be put on by the next owner.
My driveway (in Waverly) has been ice free for 2 weeks now. My drive to work (Waverly to Minnetonka) is snow/ice free too. Bring on the 50's to take care of the rest!
buying a bike tommorow , cant wait to get back out and ride , i have never had a road bike , but used to off road / motorcross harley iron 883 , found a used one for a pretty good deal , only has 60 miles
Congrats man. Enjoy the on-road two wheels. I'm sure you have heard it before, and will hear it again, but just be carefull on the sandy/salty spring roads.
Congrats! I'm getting closer to a new(er) bike every day. Fingers are crossed it won't be much longer.
probably a couple year old 600 and most likely a GSX-R(I know the G-word:hsugh I find them more comfortable than the others.
guess you'll have to get some gear then. With the right stuff, you'll be riding when it's freezing or below. Last fall, I rode until it was consistently 26F or colder in the morning when heading to work. Sorry to say I have not been out yet this spring, but that's just due to all the dirt on the roads still. I'd rather not worry about laying my bike down than try to get out a few weeks earlier. Have fun with the new wheels.
If you are just going to get a gixxxxer ben, you should just keep the SV, you will be dissapointed with the torque, or lack of it, compared to the SV.
Too late, picked up an 07 600 yesterday. I expected a few lashings from ya for the whole gixxer thing but I'll take em like a man and move on:biggrin: It was sad thing seeing the SV go but I really wanted to try the inline 4 sportbike thing and for the riding I do, the new one scoots along pretty good.
my (new to me)07 gixxxxxxer 600 pics for Mr. AWDpretzel slip on, pc3, and fender eliminator should all arrive this week.
I'm not a suzuki fan but that looks really nice. Congrats on the purchase. I'm looking to pick one up soon too!
You are lucky I love you ben, In fact Ive never met a ben that I didnt like, or could get mad at. A bike is a bike, and rules either way.
My buddy has the EXACT same bike. Great color combo! Hit me up for rides, I'm always down... Or will be when my bike is up and running!
I finally got out yesterday for the first time this season. Just a commute to work and back yesterday and today, but it is still nice to be back on 2 wheels. Seems most of the discussion is about sport bikes. Anyone around ride a cruiser or planning on doing the Flood Run in 2 weeks? I'm on an 08 Harley Road King.
it was but I photoshop it, just change the contrast but here's how it look without photoshop. still a clean cbr. View attachment 21527
Now with less fender and much more noise. It's pretty bad when my car seems quiet. After a couple mods and almost 500 miles it finally feels like my bike. View attachment 21559
