For my first cruiser I didnt want to short change myself with getting something small. I figured the 1100 would be a safe medium I could get used too. Has enough torque and is geared lower to where it takes off pretty quick. I bought the bike with the drag bars and the v&h longshots already on them. The longshots have no baffles in them at the moment... heh it definitely turns heads and annoys some people but loud pipes save lives!

Furthermore, I'm picking this seat up tomorrow, I'm stoked, the bike will be so close to what I picture in my mind....(not this bike, this bike is pretty extreme)

Nice. I've always loved SVs, although I haven't had a chance to ride one. How do you like V versus parallel twin?

Got my new (used) seat on sunday. Looks great, but I'm not exactly sold on the comfort (or lack) Luckily it was cheap enough to where I dont have buyer's remorse.

The V has almost 15 more HP and better torque, it's smoother, and the frame is lightyears ahead of the EX frame in terms of rigidity and handling. The Yoshimura full system on the EX was a little loud for me and the SV Jardin exhaust sounds beautiful. Although the 180 degree firing sequence of the parallel twin did give it a uniqueness, I like the 270 firing sequence of the 90* V better.
The guy I sold the EX to picked it up as his first bike, which is exactly what the EX is...a first/commuting bike. The SV is more of a commuter/fun bike. It was time for me to change bikes

The little bit o bike talk today reminds me I haven't shared my newest addition. 2010 HD sportster "48" I bought it late in the season not seriously searching for anything in particular but this one caught my eye. Looking forward to riding it in decent weather. I've ridden it about 500 miles so far but really only in temps between 35-50.

Promised I'd sell this one(not %100 sure I'll follow through on my promise though;))
