Long rides arent that bad at all.

 

Im not looking forward to the coldness, the long ride part doenst worry me as much. Just need to wear some long johns! :biggrin:

 

Wear winter gloves, you'll thank me. also bring your summer gloves with for the ride home!! backpacks actually help with warmness too

 

Check on the backpack, just picked up a Joe Rocket backpack. I throw some winter gloves in there just in case.

 

Anyone know a place around the Cities where I can get a Snell 2005 rated helmet? I went to Bob's Cycle off of 36 and there wasn't much of a selection...

 

....sounds like my race on Sunday is going to be a mudbath, lolz.

nobody really has that much of a selection besides dennis kirk in rush city. hitching posts tend not to have much, try motoprimo in burnsville or wherever that is down 35

 

Dennis Kirk is one of the largest motorcycle parts retailers in the country. If they don't have it, you are probably too picky, haha.
