I just got my digital camcorder in the mail today. I need to get a mount for my harness bar, but I'm betting I can get it mounted without too much difficulty.
^^ i use my tripod and some elastic straps... put some to the headrest both front seat and to teh chikd restraint latches... holds it perfect...
I did something similar once during the Palomar MTN drives. I had a tripod with two feet on the floorboards of the rear seats, and the third leg into the flip down arm rest. Then using about 6 bungee cords I tied the top of the tripod down to the floor. But now I have the harness bar. No reason to tie up a tripod when I can find something that will easily clamp down to the bar between the seats.

LOL, i thought about doing gps speed someday and doing a lap, but I just cant handle going that slow. it freaks me out. maybe if i went with a group but alone I just cant stand being passed. I feel way more unsafe then my daily 95 down 494.
LOL finally got the lap done. kimmiGT joined me for the fun. We did 59 minutes. No seconds recorded. way too much traffic last night, but it made the lane changes fun tailing each other.

Would preferred to have someone else (non-related) either ride or drive along with me and time the run. In that way, there's no conflict of interest. careful, they have officially posted state troopers all over 494. they are sitting on the side on the highway with their lights on...and have been doing so everyday for the past couple weeks. Locations I've personally noticed.... 494 West just past 169 (northbound lanes) 494 West highway 7 (northbound lanes) 494 West & highway 5 exit (southbound lanes) 494 West/100 intersection I'm sick of putting my car in neutral and coasting past them.
^^actually it's your fault! Its warmer so everyone is driving a bit faster. troopers are trying to keep it under control
^^^ the one by 169 does not even have a live person in it. well yesterday it didn't. it was the car with a manikin in it.

it was when I drove by... I have seen that in several spots latley... apparently they have more cars then cops.
no, when i tried it i hit construction with a car crash, no way am i sitting on 494 for 3 hours again.
yeah right now it may be hard to do with everyone having to be re-routed due to bridges falling into the river. but at night - like late - shouldn't be a problem I'd think. Except the cops ..
