yay, just got home about a half hour ago from one of the crazier nights I've worked. told a few drunks to go F#$% them selves (in only slightly nicer terms), trained in a new girl, and got timed on making pizzas (large hand-tossed pepperoni in about a minute. good, but needs to be 45 seconds to be a manager....).
Domino's here in Duluth similar story tonight. less drunken PITA's. first run tonight was 15 pizzas up to the Air Guard base, $25 tip :yumyum: oh yea, and a second new girl. both girls just experienced their first closing shift (8.5 hours, as opposed to the ~4 hour dinner rush shifts they've worked over the last couple weeks). good news is: 2 more Top Gear episodes finished downloading while I was at work. so I won't be going to bed anytime soon!
Who orders a Pizza at 3am!?!? It was dark, but your car looked good. Really wanna check out the older sube sometime this summer. The pics that I have seen dont do it justice im sure.
well, we're "only" open until 2am. then we start cleaning. I'm scheduled until 3, but usually am out of there about 2:30-2:45. and you'd be surprised how many people order in the wee hours of the morning. and you'd be even more surprised how many of them are NOT partying :eek3: and, the phone is usually still ringing when we walk out the door. yea, the XT6 looks pretty good. just washed both cars this week. the wagon needs some work, but hopefully will get that this summer. the XT6 only has a few spots, almost all on the driver's side, and most due to rust. will probably swap wheels again this week so I don't wear out my Blizzaks. it looks much better on the bronze WRX wheels than the steelies.
So, I got a decent sized piece of 14 gauge stainless steel dropped, the long way, on my foot tonight... of course it missed the steel toe part of my steel toed boot by all of 1/4 inch. Now my foot looks like hell plus a calogen injection.... luckily no sharp pain or numbness so hopefully just a nasty bruise. MMA training for 3 months: no injuries. Helping out a guy on the night laser shift for 20 minutes: walking funny and an estimated heal time of 1 week. awesome
^ Looks impressive, but where is the comparison with a standard 1.6 gal/flush toilet? Also, I want to mow down all the 21 y/old retards coming home from the bar right now. The **** they do at this time of night rivals the actions of people that have been officially admitted.
lol, what bar? you near dinkytown tonight? a bunch of us did jaywalk.... and as for the 1337 toilet, i think some personal test my need to be conducted  bring on the 20 golf balls and 3.5 pounds of dog food! (i really don't believe that a normal toilet could do close to that. our toilets suck so much they clog if you piss in it.)
what super power would you want? i like the cyclops one http://www.cracked.com/article_17121_when-superpowers-go-wrong.html
Those tests were so artificial. Where's the 3lb steamer ? I reckon it needs some endurance testing from a certain Fat Man-of-dubious-parental-heritage. Stuart.
i love how techy posted his own thread here lol. also i have to call out predavore on not posting after 2. i leave you with this http://yro.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=09/03/10/239249&from=rss be pissed, you know i am. damn record labels!
5:15 now. ready for bed. bought some alumiweld at harbor freight, some 1/4" aluminum rod and 3/4" square stock. and with a torch and an air grinder, fabricated a bracket to mount my new wiper to my XT6:
it 3:17 now, I just got home, my wife is drunk and I just had to clean her friends vomit out of the hall way. Ok good night...
dude thats gross, i'm out of state! an so not cool. but we're partying and excited for the hot tub and cigars
